World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 - VTMB sequel from The Chinese Room - coming Fall 2024

Half an hour alone with an AI and here's what I'd like to see in a VTM game (obviously that'll never happen). A lot of Tzimisce but you get the point, if only someone actually bothered to make this. The skull looks like a neat Toreador creation, too, from Leopold of clan novel saga.

Parasite, a modern-day survival horror roguelike

The soundtrack is out: Surprisingly, this performed better than the nearby cosmic horror video, hehehe.

Japanese personal computer aesthetic is best aesthetic

Jesus, what a way to write music :D The wiki says this: It's likely there was other software, too. So if you own the actual machine, you could probably find these. But good luck getting that outside of Japan. 2612 and 2608 aren't that different, it's mainly the lack of ability to play samples...

Parasite, a modern-day survival horror roguelike

Missed that one, gonna fix it. But "scenario A" is intended - I believe the player should not know what scenario they select unless they played it before. The letter A is for , but this won't be the case for other scenarios once I get to those.

v0.16 - L-LET'S HAVE A C-CHAT... Since Codexbros love more detailed mechanics discussions, I'll post the ingame pedia page, too:

    Vapourware Codexian Game Development Thread

Check out the thread about AI art ("Why don't indies use AI art"), I think it can produce amazing portraits already, there are my MidJourney examples in the thread, for example. So if you can use portraits in dialogue mode on top of low-poly 3D, that would solve your problem.

In Progress Lets play the best Storyfag RPG of all time: Betrayal at Krondor!

I'm a bit late chapter-wise with this (or maybe a bit too soon) but I'll just leave that here. IIRC, that track is only played twice in the game but my memory is hazy now.

Why don't indie devs use AI-generated images as art?

    Well, here it is :smug:

Why don't indie devs use AI-generated images as art?

Needs way more Biz, if you ask me but I like what I'm seeing (in the technical sense). Gonna try it at some point. How fast does it work and how heavy is it on CPU/GPU while doing it? Also where does it take the additional images it learns from? Does it come with a ready subset or do you need to...

Why don't indie devs use AI-generated images as art?

Looks like MJv4 is starting to get ahead in this regard for the moment. I've only tried once (and FFS I'm staying out of that for the moment, I've been wasting all my time generating shit for the past five days or so). Image A: plus image B: resulted in C: Very much reminds me of early 2000s...

Why don't indie devs use AI-generated images as art?

I think this image is just full of bugs that happen when dealing with AI. That smile thing of his is made out of glasses temples if you look closely. The white lines below I think are just parts of smoke that bugged out. Note how I used "gentleman in glasses" for tags since using just...

Why don't indie devs use AI-generated images as art?

No, I don't think so, his actor roles are rare cameos in mainstream productions. He did some great voices for DC animated series. I don't see anything resembling the Joker in these images, what are you talking about? And which specific Joker are we talking about? The base image I took was a cut...
