  • While I personally like Transistor more, Hades is easily Supergiants best game.

What are you on about, Transistor only has one ending and that's all it needs.

I don't know, I vaguely recalled something about multiple playthroughs. Apparently I'm mistaken. I remember liking the ending just fine, certainly wasn't implying it needed more endings. It's been probably 6+ years since I've played it, but remember the gameplay seeming rather thin, so it made sense to me that is could have opened up into multiple playthroughs.
    How's Vagrus?

Really good! Great setting, nice writing, awesome art. I find with every session it takes me about a half hour to get into the correct mind frame, then I get addicted again and hours fly by before I realize it.
Hello, I was asking for a list of games which made this year 'an unrelenting rapist of wallet' for you. Maybe I could find something interesting for myself therein.

Thanks. Noted Vagrus, somehow it has been escaping my wishlist this entire time. But I'm going to wait till it releases from EA at least.

It'll be out of EA this coming Tuesday. Check out the free demo/prologue if you haven't yet. It's basically the tutorial in the base game, but also really good and took me around 5-6 hours to complete.

Nothing else in that list piqued your interest though?

The other ones I was aware of already, they all are in the waiting queue right now, but I will get to them eventually (except a couple for which I have no interest altogether, such as Necromunda).
So I've been feeding a sourdough starter since last Sunday. Cool stuff. Raised like a boss on Tuesday, more than doubling in size but not really creating any bubbles. Made me worry my container was too small so discarded some.

Did an extra lemon one where it's half water half lemon juice. Others are all just a few ml.

I thought we were against promoting diversity here?

Diverse cultures are good when you get to eat them in the end.

    Makes you think.
I appreciate the fact you've put so much thought into the story of CS. I will reply to your points in detail when I'm less drunk so that I can give it my full attention.
jinn-san, should i purchase cruel squad

Kind of hard to answer in a way, though I think since you're someone who can get behind something like Deadly Premonition as a sum-of-all-its-parts creation, then if Cruelty Squad is alluring to you, I'd be surprised if you didn't end up enjoying it and getting your money's worth.

It's got problems, but a number of them - such as the AI for example - seem to be implemented intentionally and fit the tone of the game as whole. I've had a lot of fun with it so far at 6ish hours, and plan to play a lot more. I'm about halfway through the first run through the main missions which = about 25% of the game from what I've come to understand.

It's the type of game where I really want to go digging through the levels to explore the setting more. Anyway, let me know if you have any more specific questions or concerns before you get it (or don't) if you want!
Did you ever listen to Yezda Urfa?
I'm just curious what you thought of it, if anything.

Yes! I've listened to both albums a couple of times. I think I prefer Sacred Baboon but like both quite a bit. Sacred Baboon definitely has more of the Gentle Giant sound going on. It's crazy how much the lead singer's voice sounds like Jon Anderson of Yes too. Too bad the band stopped after two albums. There's definitely a lot more potential to be amazing there. Thanks again for the recommendation!
The product failed to catch on in the market, leading Adams "several years and several million dollars later" to sell off his intellectual property and exit the business. Adams himself noted "[t]he mineral fortification was hard to disguise, and because of the veggie and legume content, three bites of the Dilberito made you fart so hard your intestines formed a tail."

How unfortunate. Guess that's what you get for eating a vegan burrito.

Oh, that was meant to be a brofist! Accidental buttoning Grauken.

I've actually played the first hour or so of it. Very strange game. It actually gates you from progressing past the first 15 minutes with these absurd puzzles. I had to pause the emulator to track the movement on the first one, then needed a guide to get past the third one. Very strange design decision.

Besides that, love the setting, game is hard as fuck, and doesn't hold your hand at all. Definitely planning on getting deeper into it probably later this year.

Let me know if you need that guide to get past the third puzzle at any point. It's a simple panel slide puzzle, but it's about as tedious as they come.
Here is your September message Jinn. Miss seeing you around xoxo

Boring, you will run out of them in a few month real play. There is plenty of good games even this days. Tho none is as good as the classic Fallout..............3.

Yes, I absolutely do. It's an interesting game. I'll put it this way, you can reduce most games to their most fundamental goals and discredit the plethora of mechanics that surround these basic goals. This is what people do to Death Stranding with little understanding of the game itself.

Most annoyingly to me, most of these opinions are not only misinformed and lacking in actual experience, but completely regurgitated.

I still enjoy shoutbox. I just enjoy in moderation. I don't need to cut myself off from it completely like SOME people I know.

Jinn I understand that we had certain disagreements in the past and I apologize for the way I behaved last night. I...I realize now that you were always a source of discipline I desperately lack in my life.
