Arcanum Most overpowered builds in Arcanum?

As I recall, you could also do half-orc. Can't remember the specifics, but half orc warrior mage at Str 20 was the bomb.

Had to come and give you a personal brofist, man. On account that you already gave me so many!

Harren's Pass Fight as an Aurelian Praetor.

I clearly recall winning this fight very easily some years ago, but it looks...a lot more intimidating now? What happened? Did they make it more challenging? In any case, has anybody done this fight in the current version? Not sure how you're supposed to survive all the ranged attacks lol...

[King of Dragon Pass] This game actively punishes you for being successful.

Okay, maybe I'll get it on sale at some point. I'm still willing to give it a try. Thanks for mentioning that to me.

Except in this case the same author would want you to reenact the siege of Troy in exactly the way that is described in Homer's Iliad, and then he would punish you if ever deviate from that. Then it would be boring as fuck, especially if you've already read all of Homer's epic poems.

[King of Dragon Pass] This game actively punishes you for being successful.

The sum of all your arguments: 1) It makes sense because the author says so. 2) It makes sense because "fantasy". And I'm telling you that it doesn't make sense because that's not how tribes normally behaved historically. You give me the most simpish answer saying how the author made it this...

[King of Dragon Pass] This game actively punishes you for being successful.

Thanks for pointing out the exact problem with Norfleet's argument. Historically, there are usually two ways for a tribe to become a kingdom, and both of them involve getting a high enough population. One is by settling down, start emulating agricultural civilizations before them and grow their...

Okay, that I can get behind. I also just realized that maybe they changed some things around between the IOS and Steam versions?

I'm sure Genghis Khan's tribe is at least a little bigger than 1000 people...

I'm a little dubious about that. What's the point of having an ally in this game other than the necessity of forming a tribe? You normally just call them in for a raid or whatever, and they are actually not a big help. On top of that, you gotta split the spoils with them lol...

I bet you haven't even beaten the game by refusing to split the clan all the way. If you can somehow avoid the options being greyed out, show me some screenshots and how it's done. Put your money where your mouth is.

A lot of big talk for someone who has so little knowledge on how the game actually works and has already been proven wrong twice. This is why I like coming on here. Codexers can be so entertaining at times.

If you keep attacking the ducks, the beastmen will come and seriously fuck you up. There's no way to win in that battle, either. You just get a pop-up telling you that like 90% of your people are now dead due to your retarded decision, so do you want to start over? Judging by your comments, I...
