Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

Because finding them is big part of the game. They could make few big dungeon, and maybe make you search for clues where it is, and items that you need to get to them, that could be better. I disagree. I prefer to get powerful as time goes by, and you can't feel more powerful when everything...

Decline "It needs a deep story to become GoTY"

    Some GoTY physics there.

"How Game Designers Protect Players From Themselves"

Scores are pretty sloppy mechanism, if the game is supposed to be played in a specific way, then it should be required to succeed at finishing the game, or at least make it easier. And yeah failing few quests, or not doing few quest isn't a big deal, it is often better just to accept that. This...

Nintendo Switch, the only console today making games which are games

They add new gameplay elements to they games, Zelda:botw is very creative, and they manage to do the open world correctly. I don't care about new IP if it doesn't offer new gameplay. And as for weapons breaking it actually works pretty well, there is a cost of engaging in combat, and loosing...

Risen 1 vs Gothic, the eternal debate

Gothic 3 combat isn't that bad with alternative ai on (or whatever it is called), in general turn all the balancing changes that comes with community patch. Some weapon animations are way too slow, but you can solve that issue by just not using them. The best character is meele-mage hybrid, you...

    ELEX Pre-Release Thread

It is retarded, but I might be able to get over it if the game is good. I don't see how they could think that this was a good idea tho.

Xbox Scorpio will be most powerfull console sporting 6 teraflop GPU

No it isn't, xbox scorpio has a potato for cpu (Even pentium for 60$ is much better) add to that rx480 and it will be cheaper the scorpio, and you have to add more expensive games + paying MS to unblock your internet so you can get i5 or R5, and it will be end up being cheaper anyway. PC gaming...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

I had seen part of his video where he complained about open world design, and his idea to fix it was to have story related parts easier to find, and making the games more linear, so it isn't surprising.

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

It has allot to do with how it is done, Zelda seems to balance emptiness vs stuff to find/things to do very well. When you can't turn the stone without finding epic loot, it becomes mundane, when map indicators show every content that developers did put into the game, you don't actually look for...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

There is no tedious grinding in this game, it is more about getting to some place, finding hidden stuff, and completing shrines (1-2 rooms mini dungeons that usually have some puzzle to solve, and there are few with some unique enemy). Runes, and parachute, and ability to climb are also great...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

Mods don't fix quests that rely on map gps (it is in Zelda as well for Shrines but not for everything so there is a nice balance there), they don't fix shitty combat either. They don't add physics that is actually important for gameplay in Zelda:BotW, rune abilities also add allot to the game...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

Skyrim has shitty exploration, following an arrow in level scaled world doesn't count as open world being already done, you have to look at how gameplay elements work together. There is shitton of open world games, but there is few that don't suck. > You find Bows all the time, but getting...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

You can also get to the end area from the start, the games does look like allot of fun, there is good exploration there where you actually look for stuff not just follow an arrow, no level scaling, climbing, shield surfing, and parachute for faster traveling, and teleport system instead of fast...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

Except when they analyze game footage of 3rd party games that are also on PC it turn out that the settings on console is mix of medium, and high settings. Also some of the games can't even run at stable 30fps, and that is already half of what should be the minimal accepted fps now. So consoles...

Incline The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch

Actually it is the other way around, Sony, and xbox one were outdated at release, switch is actually using the top technology for a handheld of this size (at least gpu wise). As for 1080p that is a buzzword there is no console that can max games in 1080p, you need pc for that.
