    Honest Question. WRPGs and JRPGs.

Check out the "Brave New World", the combat system was modded by grognards and it's satisfyingly complex, though not complicated. Blue magic and Gau are userful again! May have the best JRPG combat now.

In Progress Let''s Play: The X-COM Files 0.5.2b Alpha! BLIND! ITS BAAAACK!!

I think X-PirateZ is not just a great mod, it's one of the best games I've ever played. Never a dull moment. Although newbies suggest you mod to make it a bit shorter, because playtime can be in the hundreds of hours (at least it was as of v.97 or so). Makes Long War seem like Mario with warp...

Review RPG Codex Review: The Age of Decadence

It feels like having an experienced designer and writer on staff would have helped immensely. But bootstrapping that is hard. Having good taste doesn't instantly make you a good creator (or people woulda bought my music). v. much looking forward to the Generation Ship RPG tho.

I actually know some folks on the dev team (they're Bulgarian). Bros try real hard, cut 'em slack. Also, Tropico is fun.

    *redacted*

SO GLAD THIS IS STILL HAPPENING 1B. Same as ^ 2C. We still need manual laborers, warm bodies for future wars, etc. 3C. Might as well leverage moar intel. 4B. FIGHT. If the invaders are trans-dimensional, I can't image anywhere is safe. Of course, we'll probably just become as monstrous as...

RPG Codex - Top 50 WORST RPGs YOU'VE PLAYED vote thread

There was a 90's RPG called Dungeon Hack. First RPG I bought. It was awful. I had no idea what was going on (I was 10) http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/28552/dungeon+hack.html

Review RPG Codex Review: NEO Scavenger

Thanks for reviewing this. The game really was a joy to explore, and a fantastic mythos (even if I had to look at the source code to understand it all).
