  1. Dodge and Toughness

Also, Deadly Aim. If there's one feat from Pathfinder I would like to see making its way to Chaos Chronicles, it's Deadly Aim. It's the ranged version of Power Attack. It only requires Dex 13+ as a prerequisite and it makes crossbow users able to deal significant damage past the first levels...
  2. Dodge and Toughness

It's a good advancement sure, but being 5% less likely to being hit is not equal to ''dodging an unlimited amount of arrows that rain on you from all direction''. Some of those arrows are going to hit you, even if you have dodge. Your ruling also make dodge less useful for ranged characters who...
  3. Dodge and Toughness

Of all the D&D 3.5 OGL feats that need to be improved, Dodge and Toughness are probably the best examples. Dodge gives you a +1 dodge bonus to AC against a single opponent that you choose at the beginning of your turn (not very useful when fighting more than one opponent). Pathfinder fixed that...
  4. COREPLAY Staff

You need to go in the General Game Discussion, the Open Game Content 3.5 or the Technical Support subforums for info about the game. There's also an official website with lots of updates and screenshots: http://www.chaos-chronicles.com/
  5. Ability Scores Generation

It would be great if, a few weeks prior to the release of Chaos Chronicles, the details of ability score generation would be explained here or on the official site. In that way, we could make our characters on paper before the release so that when the game finally comes out, we could quickly...
  6. System Requirements

4 GB RAM (Vista, 7, 8) seems a little high for minimum memory requirements. Games like X-COM: EU, ES: Skyrim, Deus Ex: HR, The Witcher 2 and Diablo III do not require that much memory.
  7. Masterwork Weapons and Armors/Shields

Awesome! The more I hear about this game, the more I am excited! :D If the Armor Check Penalty is zero, you get a penalty of zero on attack rolls (so, not really a penalty). If you're attacking with a two-handed weapon, or an off-hand weapon, while using a buckler, you get an extra -1 penalty...
  8. Masterwork Weapons and Armors/Shields

Any chances of seeing them in the game? Will characters without Shield Proeficiency be able to equip masterwork buckler without penalty, since the Armor Check Penalty of a maserwork buckler is -0? Same thing for masterwork studded leather.
  9. Ability Scores Generation

Although I don't feel strongly one way or the other, a have a question for those who absolutely want ''Rolled'' Ability Scores: Should the devs increase the difficulty of the game just to provide a challenge for those who will spend an hour Rolling the stats of each of their characters, thus...
  10. Hexagon Grid

    Hexagon Grid > Square Grid.
  11. Ability Scores Generation

Will it be random (dice rolls) or not (point-buy)? For the sake of balance, I hope it will use a fixed amount of points that you can spend in the ability scores of your choice, like in NWN 1 and 2. 25 points would be enough (standard-fantasy).
  12. Playable Character Races and Classes

Choosing a single spell from a limited spell list when leveling up seems very reasonable. At least, if you have two or more wizards in your party, you can give them different spells when they level up. It also gives more importance to scrolls you buy or find. Are you going to spend your money on...
  13. Will characters have a ''front'' and a ''back'' in CC?

Awesome, thank you for the quick reply!
  14. Will characters have a ''front'' and a ''back'' in CC?

Let's say the sides of a hexagon are named 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, where 1 is adjacent to 2, 2 is adjacent to 3, 3 is adjacent to 4 [...] and 6 is adjacent to 1. If an attacking creature is adjacent to side 1 of a defending creature's hexagon, does that mean that the attacking creature will get a...
  15. Will characters have a ''front'' and a ''back'' in CC?

All is in the title. In D&D 3.0-3.5 (OGL), characters don't have a ''front'' and a ''back'', but I read on the CC website that the game may feature a ''facing system''. If it's true, how will that work?
