Divinity Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

Yes, I am an idiot for sticking any longer with this game, but seriously, who playtested this shit? This flying turd is 90% impossible to aim at in either default or top-down camera, in a fucking TURN-BASED game. I may or may not end up writing a whole wall of text about how shit almost...

Divinity Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

I've reached armored goblins on the forest level, and the game's a fucking slog. I don't remember any other turn-based game that I've played being this boring and repetitive, worst of all, the fights take forever because the animations are sloooooooooooooooooow. I've got my fun out of Cyseal...

Hellgate: Redemption (Bill Roper/Lunacy Games) announced

Hellgate: London could have been fun if the environments and even many character abilities weren't literally copypasted. I don't remember much about it except for decent free-form crafting/upgrade system.

Star Wars Was KOTOR even worth a play?

You get stuff like +Wisdom/Force Points or +Strength/Damage, depending on your jedi class, and force powers that are aligned to your side cost less to use (and vice versa).

Star Wars Was KOTOR even worth a play?

I would prefer more force powers if the interface wasn't such a chore to scroll through them, you can get all the best ones even w/o saving levels anyway.

Star Wars Was KOTOR even worth a play?

If you're a Scoundrel you want to go 7 levels in for sneak attack + AC, only the 8th level is worth delaying.

Was Dark Souls 2 the greatest game that From Software ever made?

Lies of P looks nice, but it's worse than any DaS.

Was Dark Souls 2 the greatest game that From Software ever made?

Gears of War looked like shit. I know this thread was retarded from start, but at this point it's hysterical how many people here have awful taste in games and aesthetics.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition - now with turn-based combat

Dexterity also has negative synergy with spells that increase your size, which further limits reach and damage.

    Underwhelming Character Builds

Speaking of D&D, many prestige classes are straight up worse than just sticking to your current class. Mystic Theurge sacrifices normal spell progression and class features just to get some more casts, Assassin and Weapon Master rely so much on poison/crits that their power becomes useless...

Impressive amount of vagueposting from supposed fans of the game, as usual.

Was Dark Souls 2 the greatest game that From Software ever made?

DaS series are action games, of course the action part and level/encounter design is very important. Let's say none of that matters, then what exactly are these games good for?

Was Dark Souls 2 the greatest game that From Software ever made?

To this day, I have no idea why there's such rabid defense force around DS2 specifically, they make rest of Fromdrones look civil by comparison. With the exception of Crown of the Old Iron King, the whole game plays and feels like off-brand copy of DaS, there's like 2-3 levels in the whole game...

Star Wars Was KOTOR even worth a play?

KOTOR is like the most "ok" game I've ever played, it had a few memorable locations like Korriban and Manaan, but also very dumbed down combat and character progression, and cast was 90% forgettable. I've replayed the sequel several times, not itching to return to the first game because there's...
