  1. The Omnificent Role-playing System News

Huh? I didn't know the RPG Codex posted PnP RPG News, too? And if you do now, why bring news about this game. From what I've seen so far the game's design and the artwork look like it's from the 80s. While I sometimes enjoy some old-school RPG I don't see anything special here. There are...
  2. Arcanum soundtrack

Strange, I tried it again, and now it works. Last time I tried it from the office. Perhaps that was the problem.
  3. Arcanum soundtrack

That was the first place I looked. Alas they didn't mirror the mp3 files. The links still point to the Sierra ftp server and those links seem to be broken. :(
  4. Arcanum soundtrack

Does anyone know where I can get the Arcanum soundtrack that was available at the official game website? I already know that the ingame music can be found in the game directory, but as far as I remember the soundtrack tracks were edited differently than the ingame music or am I mistaken?
  5. Warhammer Online guild beta, anybody interested

May I join you if you get accepted into the beta? :D
  6. So... ummm... wheres the game?

Has anyone heard anything from ZeroSum? If they still need help testing the game, there are dozens of people at the Codex willing to help them ... including me ;)
  7. So... ummm... wheres the game?

I think they meant christmas LAST year...
  8. Hello again... from Zero Sum

Sounds like fun. Count me in!
  9. Hello again... from Zero Sum

    Pretty please...
  10. Troika Games no longer exists

That' really sad. I always hoped Troika would be back... :(
  11. WOW Goes Gold & Mass Idiocy

I had the chance to beta test WoW, too, and I must say that I am very disappointed by this game. I love the artwork, although it's very low poly and the music was great, but the gameplay is more than boring. I really tried to like the game and tried out different characters but in the end I...
  12. Review IGN approves of Bloodlines

Too bad I am still waiting for my copy of Bloodlines... I really would like to write a review of my own. Ok, I am probably biased, too, but I know what to expect from a CRPG. Most "professional" reviewers are obviously not willing to review a third/first-person RPG differntly from a FPS. The...
  13. Review IGN approves of Bloodlines

I don't get it why they let this guy (who also reviewed HL2) review Bloodlines. He obviously expected some FPS while playing Bloodlines.
  14. Interview NWN premium content Q&A on NWVault

I will never understand why you think that calling someone names or claiming that they are stupid is a valid argument in any discussion.
  15. Development Info ExUlt in 3D?

As a fan of the Ultima series I have been playing around with Exult for some time now. Going 3D is one of the best idea they ever had - making a good game even better! Also it's amazing what they can do without creating a whole new game by just using the old data in creative ways. Let's hope...
