    I've played for about 8 hours and this chest is the only thing I saw with a timer. There are quest markers above npc heads yes but it doesn't bother me, you don't have to talk to each npc you see.

    You have a point for the duration but in this case why not concentrate onself on a samller map size rather than making a big and monotonous map? Take Jayrude's fm Fierce Competition for example: the level is small but perfectly realized and polished, with great visuals and details.

    Coaxing the spirit is excellent, fabulous silent hill ambiance and if you're more into detective story you can try Waterfront racket, also really good.
