    It's about attention.
  2. Recommend a turn based, isometric/overhead, full party RPG for me

you should, it's a great game
  3. RPGs Turn 50 - Dungeons & Dragons 50th Anniversary

Seconded. watched it a couple years ago. really good.
  4. Traditional vs. weird settings

that actually sounds like a really interesting premise.
  5. Vapourware Codexian Game Development Thread

Best of luck with your launch!
  6. Gold Box SSI's Gold Box Series Thread

I thought I read somewhere that paladins have a chance to command NPCs based on their charisma and it's rolled before each fight. Not sure which games (if I'm even remembering correctly) have this functionality.
  7. Why D&D 2e is the BEST edition ever.

Ravenloft had some really cool setting-specific monsters... and this one.
  8. Why D&D 2e is the BEST edition ever.

Agreed on the bit about the paladin. I liked the stat restrictions. one of the most fun characters I ever played was a fighter who wanted to be a paladin but didn't quite measure up.
  9. Incline Classic D&D/AD&D/OSR Art

That doesn't seem like it worked :-D
  10. Incline Classic D&D/AD&D/OSR Art

Was just watching a youtube vid on the AD&D 2e ravenloft boxed set. I had forgotten how cool the cover of the Domains and Denizens book is. Not sure why the insert image from link won't work with this :( http://www.tsrarchive.com/rv/rv-box-lore.jpg
  11. Diablo IV

that's probably part of it, but the real reason it remove the direct money connotation from purchases. The further away you get from thinking "this is going to cost me 10 dollars" the better for them.
  12. Bringing D&D/AD&D campaign settings to life with Stable Diffusion

AI has gotten a lot better at drawing hands. still not perfect, but at least it's the right number now and they generally go the right direction :-D
  13. Dungeon Siege - How the hell was this ever popular?

I haven't seen the movie, but by all accounts the game is at least better than the movie. Cue jokes about which format was more interactive :-D
  14. Incline Classic D&D/AD&D/OSR Art

Signature looks life Jeff Easley to me.
  15. Incline Classic D&D/AD&D/OSR Art

agreed on both counts. fwiw, this URL will bring you to a list of everything, if you hadn't noticed. https://mojobob.com/roleplay/monstrousmanual/
