Incline How to properly enjoy an RPG

I opt for playing good and challenging games instead of following all those points - half of which are either redundant or dependant of the type of CRPG being played. Some of those only work for easy games. The "role-playing" in the "i talk and make choices like my character would do" can...

Game News Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Gameplay Trailer

Because DAO was such a great game. Sad state of affair indeed... is not. The fact that there aren't many A(AA) crpgs is good for the genre. If we had more DAOs people would play even less indies that at least try to do something right even if sometimes miss the mark. We already have enough...

Game News Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Gameplay Trailer

Actually i think the one above is superior. No joke. Of curse it is shit and wouldn't be good for Owlcat (or would it?) but at least it is distinct. At least i would remember it after playing a 40k game. Unlike Owlcat's "style". It worked somewhat for kingmaker but warhammer + futuristic...

Elder Scrolls Ways in which Morrowind indisputably inclined from Daggerfall

Fake news. A mix of hand crafted and procedural dungeons was replaced by hand crafted ones.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition - Season Pass 2 on the way

I don't know about Pathfinder and firearms but historically armour wasn't totally useless against pre-rifle firearms tough of limited effectiveness to the point of being finally almost completely abandoned in 17th century*. Just saying. It says "advanced" in your example though, whatever that...

Of curse he does, he is Desiderius. Don't joke with him and learn to respect.

Personally, I think it's now safe to say Disco Elysium is better than Planescape: Torment.

I never played DE but what you describe is exactly the feeling i got when playing PST. Pretentious and trying too appear as something that it isn't. I had some fun playing it. Mostly because the setting and some quests were fun, never finished it though. Here comes DE that is supposedly similar...

PST is mediocre so even if true, it's not saying much. Was it good enough for you as far as lack of genuine discussion goes? We don't want you to be appalled, after all.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition - now with turn-based combat

Eating dead bodies of humans or other hominids (necrophagia) is, as any necrophilic activity, considered abhorrent and highly illegal everywhere. :smug:

Fallout Celebrate 25 years of Fallout with Bethesda!

You really meant: "post daggerfall TES games are lousy jank and FalloutS ARE good", I'm sure of it.

NovelAI - AI becomes gamemaster in text based RPG. And handles everything.

AI could potentially make stuff better than most people make for games. Be it stories, graphics, whatever. Not all content can be of equal quality even in a good product. Financial limitations, time constraints or lack of available talent makes it impossible. AI could create the lesser parts...

Fallout Celebrate 25 years of Fallout with Bethesda!

I will be happy to remember my name and the name of that site about crpg that i frequented for decades. Or maybe not.

Fallout Celebrate 25 years of Fallout with Bethesda!

I can be wrong but i think that was GOG giving them for free short before they had to remove the games from their offer. GOG/CDP used to be decent, long time ago.

Disco Elysium creative lead Robert Kurvitz was quietly fired from ZA/UM in late 2021 - files lawsuit against them!

It's almost like some of the people genuinely interested and knowledgeable of CRPGs criticise some games they don't like. Then lurkers came to vote. Thank God, they aren't numerous enough to make Bethesda and CDP's games win every poll. RPG CODEX is excellent for one's mental health! I swear...

[Poll] What are the two most important things to you in a computer roleplaying game?

Crispy What is so "retarded" in my post? The dumb joke in the end? Live with it.
