  1. Starfield - Epic Shit Takes from Bethestards

Except no Eventually after the relatively short questlines you'll find that the world is basically the same afterwards. It's literally the Fallout 3 "the water has been purified but everyone is still begging for water" scenario all over again.
  2. Starfield - Epic Shit Takes from Bethestards

Are you kidding? When I played FO4, I found levelling up extremely boring because the perk choices were lackluster and boring. Hmm do I want a 10% damage increase or a 10% range increase... Starfield definitely had more interesting perks, with most perks having some unique influence on...
  3. Diablo 2: Resurrected remaster

Not all hope is lost: When ballbustlingly difficult games DO come out, they tend to do well. Dark Souls basically started a golden age for Fromsoft, and it came out right in the middle of the most mediocre, easy game generation.
  4. Diablo 2: Resurrected remaster

Can you explain this fix for retards? What was the problem?
  5. Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every way

Probably the only genuine improvement in Skyrim over Oblivion gameplay wise is horse combat. And I like that the magic system went back to the Morrowind style of "equipping" spells in your hands rather than pressing the magical "cast" button like in Oblivion, with a few interesting gameplay...
  6. What happened to "mature" art direction? Everything is Overwatch now

"Hey this thread is interesting, people are talking about oversimplified art and-" >Jewish conspiracy mentioned Okay I'm going to back away slowly....
  7. Arkane PREY - Arkane's immersive coffee cup transformation sim - now with Mooncrash roguelike mode DLC

Some people are brainlets and can't handle a game that doesn't let them undo their mistakes every 5 seconds. Quicksaving was a mistake. I'm so glad the industry at large is waking up to this fact and making more and more interesting save systems, like what old console games used to have. Bring...
  8. Which programming language did you choose and why?

    "Bro, just use service locator"
  9. Dragon Age How to Enjoy Dragon Age: Origins

Enjoy Dragon Age: Origins (impossible challenge)
  10. Which programming language did you choose and why?

C has a lot of language features which I wish C coders would use FAR less often (pointer arithmetic, enums in place of ints), but which I still consider critically important, and it's such a shame so many other languages don't support them. Pointer arithmetic is great for working with arrays...
  11. Arkane PREY - Arkane's immersive coffee cup transformation sim - now with Mooncrash roguelike mode DLC

I'm totally fine with Bioshock being average or bad, I don't generally dwell on low quality games. What really pisses me off is how Bioshock has garnered a reputation of being a "Complex and deep immersive sim experience, a worthy successor to System Shock 2", to the point where literally every...
  12. Arkane PREY - Arkane's immersive coffee cup transformation sim - now with Mooncrash roguelike mode DLC

I also enjoyed Prey. I don't want to give anyone the impression that I hate it or think it's not worth playing. I will just totally understand if someone decides to quit halfway through, or doesn't find the gameplay compelling because of it's huge flaws. The only imsim worth hating is...
  13. Arkane PREY - Arkane's immersive coffee cup transformation sim - now with Mooncrash roguelike mode DLC

Prey has so much going on creatively it actually loops back around to undermining itself with too much choice. I know that sounds like a meme but it's true. It's like the developers were like "we need people to be able to HACK into rooms! oh oh, and leverage! Oh but what if we also added a...
