Oblivion first time modded or vanilla

Read between the lines of this thread. Your options are "I hate the game so play it modded so that you can still hate it like I did" or "Play it vanilla because life's too short to spend your time modding Oblivion."

KickStarter Blasphemous - gorgeous looking religious horror metroidvania

Just installed this morning. Game runs smoothly but cutscenes will weirdly either freeze or go very fast (while text/narration continues) then end without being able to tell what's going on. Given the game's lore + story focus, this ruins the experience. I have restarted from the beginning...

Arkane Dishonored: Death of the Outsider - standalone adventure featuring Billie Lurk

The Envisioned are not invincible, you can in fact kill them easily with a certain method if you don't care about stealth but it's true that level is just awful compared to the rest of the series because of the guaranteed detection without intense metagaming.

Explanation for why Battletech's big autocannons have shorter range?

I suspect it's very much a case of game balance as you have said, as it's not unique to Battletech but prevalent in many wargames I have played. They figure out the lore later. For example in tabletop 40k, keeping in mind points values, this has generally been true over the editions for these...

Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch™ Remastered - NOW I & II on STEAM !

I dropped the first one after the first desert town or whatever for reasons unremembered, but I still don't know what they meant by this.

    Fallout Fallout 4 Thread

Yes, the MIRV modification of the Fat Man in Fallout 4 turns your shots into cluster bombs, but it often does wonky stuff like not allowing the bombs to separate as shown in the video. Also, sometimes they will just stop mid-air halfway into the shot and fall directly downward.
