It was the frame limiter. I thought it was off. Vsync works well though. Thanks for your help.

I'm loving the game but I seem to be having performance issues. My build is a i7 8700k with a 1080 but the game only puts out 30 fps. The game's graphics obviously does not need a high range pc. Is there something I can do to increase performance?

In any japanese game you cannot name your hero Roto/Loto. This is reserved for the title in the third game.

I don't know about the tweaks that were mentioned but I have a similar set up and the first castle you go to will be nigh unplayable. I'm in the middle of building an i7 8700k with a 1080 so I'm holding off until then.

If you have a fast connection then it isn't worth it. The preload file is encrypted and may take longer to decrypt than downloading especially if you don't have an SSD. My internet is incredibly slow but my computer is quite fast so it is better for me to preload it.

I just fucking bought the steam version because I'm working all day (6am-5pm) and want it preload before I get home that night.

So it wasn't really to challenge your ability. It is just a shitpost! If you play on the hardest difficulty in all games why would you care if there is post game content barred only to those who don't play on hard? These hypothetical people seem quite false as there is no one on the codex...

Thanks for the info. The GTU-v50 is great. Colors are correct and there doesn't seem to be any terrible distortions some of the others have. Ever used the hyllian glow filter? It looks like oblivion's bloom has infected all games before it.

FFXV can be modded and it has denuvo. I'm pretty sure its fine as denuvo is typically implemented as an online certification process that happens every week to month to make sure you have a proper copy. For that sweet post-game content. I've been playing through DQ2 as I've never really...
