    CKII is released.

Huh? You can play your old savegames by reverting to the previous patch in Steam. Unless there's a bug that literally deletes your old savegames, you should be able to play them just like you did before RoI was released.

    CKII is released.

Yeah... You can revert back to the pre-RoI version with one click in the Steam settings menu, though.

Interview Feargus Urquhart and Fredrik Wester on the Pillars of Eternity distribution deal

Whoa whoa whoa -- very little risk? Paradox is dropping a fat wad of cash down on this deal. They are taking a big risk and they need a payoff. Even the Paradox CEO says as much -- they are losing a lot of money on this in the short term.

Game News Crusader Kings II: Rajas of India released

Yeah, if you're playing Paradox games wishing for TW-style tactical combat, you're playing the wrong games. Not everybody enjoys TW.

Gabriel Knight: 20th Anniversary Edition - remake by Jane Jensen

Jane Jensen seems to suffer from a disease I've noticed in Ron Gilbert: obviously the new way is better than the old way, which is why their new games have been so much more successful than their old games.

    CKII is released.

SoA is my favourite expansion. The hate SoA got for being "thin" is exactly what pushed them towards this India abortion -- salient, easy-to-understand additions that add breadth over depth. Yes, you get a whole new region -- but did you really get any new interesting game mechanics? You got...

Paradox is the best company ever

tyrannosaurus rex I just said I've never encountered your kind before. Do you guys do like, smacktalk or what? Are you renowned for your micro across the Rhine? Do you type BOOYAH!!! when you get a Casus Belli? The games are full of so much data, I spend half of my time paused looking at info...

Paradox is the best company ever

Yeah, people on this forum can be so stupid about Paradox's DLC. This isn't like Dragon Age where you add some OP shit, a half-assed party member and a random dungeon. These are what used to be called expansions, in downloadable form. This guy is from Mars. You're more than welcome to hate the...

Interview Feargus Urquhart and Fredrik Wester on the Pillars of Eternity distribution deal

Ya, you got me. 6 gameplay expansions, 10-20 songs, 10-20 unique unit models, 5+ racial portrait packs, customization DLC, the EU4 converter, and the brand new stuff that came out two days ago -- that whole package is currently between $60-$70, which is way more like $200 than $30-50. Congrats...

Interview Matt Chat 233: Brenda Romero on Sir-Tech

Matt's weekly Goethe quotes need to be made relevant to the content of the video. Pulling out random quotes from literary figures doesn't make you an academic.
