  1. Feature Suggestions & Requests - Handled

Thanks I'll keep that in mind (tho I doubt I'll take on ToEE again... unless someone somehow lays his hands on the IWD2 asset sources and the ToEE sources and rerenders a proper IWD2 port to a properly fixed ToEE engine. Gonna need a glitch in the matrix for this to transpire however). As for...
  2. Feature Suggestions & Requests - Handled

Damn you just nuked the way I played this game for like 90% of time lol It's like when fcukin blizzard nerfed the blood golemancer (for whatever stupid reason) ;-( Of course unlike the glorious Necro build, the reach weapons were ridiculously overpowered to the point of making fighting with...
  3. Temple+ on Linux

    1) Grab wine from https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu (stable will do) 2) execute WINEARCH=win32 wineboot (answer yes to Qs if any pop up) 3) Might want to set it to Win7 in winecfg just in case. Won't hurt. 4) install say the GOG distribution to C:\toee 5) install Java in wine.. I got one from the...

well the only issue is https://github.com/GrognardsFromHell/TemplePlus/issues/462 so it's sort of works but not exactly like it should but nevertheless thanks for the advice, won't hurt to add them
  8. Temple+ on Linux

dxvk was enough here there are are issues though.
  9. Temple+ on Linux

Hey, thanks. Good old "read the source" ) Would be nice if somebody looked into the particles issue I've created... This is really the only major bug affecting playing T+ in Wine
  10. Temple+ on Linux

Why not just use Wine? Also, the Config tool does nothing but manipulates the values in the .ini Now if the latter was properly (or at least somewhat...) documented, the config wouldn't be needed at all.
  11. Temple+ on Linux

Haha. It does start, and in way under than couple a days) Actually, once you know better than *not* to run the latest (and greatest ofc) version of wine, the whole chain is only slightly longer than it would've been on windoze natively. It's just my wine-fu was terribly rusty, playing almost...
  12. Temple+ on Linux

appreciate the trolling, but native ports usually require about 5 mins of my time ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ (or around 20 if I need to quickly setup a buildroot and compile) this beauty needs Java, Net, and Python to run a 20 yo game lol if the good community folks were so inclined as not to use all the...
  13. Temple+ on Linux

Oh, it just needed a still newer version of Net... Gawd what a freakin mess. PS Why do fan made projects love shifty frameworks and horribly bloated middleware so much???
  14. Temple+ on Linux

Sigh.. hoped the .zip download would serve as the saving grace, but launching either the config or the main exe itself just results in a hang (after installing yet another version of Net...) Any input on how to deal with running the current T+ on wine would be appreciated. Or, alternatively...
  15. Temple+ on Linux

As of now, attempting to install T+ via wine returns an error As per this bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40613 it's impossible to work around without apparently compiling wine from source.( Nice((( Many hoops to jump thru to get TOEE working under WINE (GOG installer spews errors...
