Jagged Alliance 3 from Haemimont Games

Rato's Balance is exactly the mod I've been looking for to tip me over the edge to buy JA3 (though I'll still play vanilla first). Thanks!

Incline True Thief 4 Dark Mod is released

Didn't realise Corbin was the most used character name until now. More impressively, didn't even know there was a Wiki dedicated to the various protagonists in TDM missions. Pretty cool! https://wiki.thedarkmod.com/index.php?title=Thief_Characters

Erenshor - a single player MMORPG

I have to admit I'm one of those weirdos too  I played a number of MMOs back in the day: Runescape, Helbreath, Neocron, Anarchy Online, EVE, Auto Assault, Age of Conan, Darkwind. In all of these, the only ones where I've teamed up with people were Anarchy and Darkwind. I don't really like...

Sector Unknown - A Story-Rich, Isometric RPG Set in A Shadowy Expanse of Space

Looks intriguing enough. Wishlisted and all the best!

Mega list of cartography and mapmaking tools

Recently bought Dungeondraft and Wonderdraft, and have been playing around with both. Whipped up a simple cave in about 30-40 minutes with Dungeondraft on my first try. Very nice software overall, very simple to use :greatjob:

Anime The mistake a lot of modern boomer shooters make

Arthurian Legends? I mean people say it's like Witchhaven done right, or if it had a baby with Heretic, but its similarities end when you closely examine the gameplay loop.

Last Epoch - time travel action-RPG

I mean, the world that it takes place in is called "Eterra", and the first line of the introduction starts with "In the beginning, there was darkness." Quality non-generic writing right there. I'm only surprised the first NPC I met wasn't some random bloke called Jake Smith.

Free Stars: Children of Infinity - upcoming Star Control 2 sequel from Fred Ford's Pistol Shrimp Games

With absolutely no idea who this BikeMan is and with some time to kill before work starts, I decided to check out his Twitch channel. Oh hey, looks like this is the video that features SC2: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2067911737 Clicked on it. Went to 1:10:40 randomly because it shows a 3D...

    Immersive Sims

Went to look up Militsioner out of curiosity. Damn, that's the stuff of nightmares.

KickStarter Monomyth - A first person action RPG/dungeon crawler - now in Beta

Barely 5 mins into the demo, I murdered the first group of friendly NPCs and looted all their shit. GOTY material right there. :obviously: Also, setting doors on fire never gets old, but it does feel jarring you can't light up some of the other supposedly flammable stuff like tables, shelves...

Vapourware A new Deus Ex was in development at Eidos Montreal

It's been a while since I've been following all this gaming drama with Embracer, so I need a refresher: were these guys the ones who bought up a lot of big name IPs at one fell swoop some time like last year or two years ago? I keep getting them confused with THQ Nordic.
