    I can deal with a lot of combat, I don't mind and if it's good I enjoy it. WotR goes overboard because it spams encounters designed to annoy. It's like the entire final 30% of the game was made by the dude that designed the House at the end of time or whatever that place is called in Kingmaker...

    Almost all D&D based games have an experience cap so I don't understand why it's such an issue for so many people, it comes with the territory, and at least it's high enough that you don't end up with shit like in Pool of Radiance some classes being capped out of their second attack.

    WotR doesn't work in RTwP at least on higher difficulties because the encounters are bloated as fuck and you can get your entire party instagibbed with bad positioning when you get 3 tsunamis coming at you in a hallway. Fucking ass threshold shit. Retarded encounter design dicks.

    I have no concern about linearity. I just hope they don't put in too many gimmick fights like the forge one, it's the only thing in EA that I found straight up bad, especially because the way the debuff to hurt it works makes no sense and getting it to actually stop in range of the hammer is...

    Played through EA 3 times. Some concerns with UI and graphics, but overall had a good experience. Calling it shit is more of a stretch than Astarion's anus after getting beared.
