  1. Game News Vampirem Claws it's Way to Early Access

Thanks to everyone who took a look... It's just a little game made by one guy so no Dark Souls budget here but I'm happy with the way it turned out... and had fun making it... some might need a bit more and that's fair.
  2. BloodLust Shadowhunter

Thanks for taking a look at my game, Bloodlust. It took a long time to make, huh? LOL! It's probably more "dungeon crawler" than anything else - I wanted to create a dungeon crawler but rather than use the stereo-typical medieval characters often found in these type of games, I thought I...
  3. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

that was some concept stuff that I was just goofing around with that shouldnt of been posted on the site (just for the 3d modeler's eyes) Sorry about that. The actual 3d model result ended up looking nothing like the similar character.
  4. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

Thanks again for a everyone who's has taken a look - some good feeback from everyone. As far a finding the store... I think some people are having trouble with the Big doors that simply look like walls - so I need to change that - basically people see the door and think its a wall so they...
  5. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

If you cant find one in a chest or from a monster... You can always get one from from Sarah in the store area. (Note she restocks after entering new areas) You do know where the store is, right?
  6. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

@Teepo - thanks for the support and comments... Yes I think the key will be providing more interesting weapons, skills and abilities as the game progresses. Mozgoëbstvo- thanks for checking the game out and the comments. I will make a note of the camera and see what I can do. Also thank you...
  7. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

@Licaon_Kter - I am not really familiar with WINE and Mono... but I will try to look into that (perhaps install those and set up a test machine) Thanks for trying it out... Yes... I think you are correct about too much fantasy stuff - it may be misleading. I think I will just confine...
  8. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

Sorry its not working for you... but thanks for trying. If you have a fairly new computer with 2GB ram and decent video card the only errors that usually occur are DirectX related. You may want to re-install DirectX9.0c (link in on download section of site) Sometimes a reboot can fix...
  9. Popular Rpgs that you tried but never was able to finish?

Neverwinter Nights 2 - I enjoyed it, but I think I screwed up building my characters so the last battle was too hard.
  10. Bloodlust

Thanks everyone for trying out the demo... The demo takes place in a Ruins/Graveyard area - this area may be a little misleading of the entire game - since this area contains monsters that re-spawn (necessary to allow player to gain enough expierience to level up and try a few skills) this...
  11. Bloodlust

sorry some sort of server error posted twice
  12. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

@Licaon_Kter - Whoa! That is beyond bizzarre - I cannot imagine why any dedicated graphics card would have such low fps... I have tried this game with a very "old" Gforce 210 (thats about as lowbudget as you can get - i think? lol!) - and I get 15fps But thank you for letting me know about...
  13. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

    - yes thanks for pointing that out... The demo probably does seem too fantasy-like without the city portions. (and the guns too) - maybe change the "scrolls of identify" to some sort of internet wikipedia link to identify un-indentified items ( don't know?) There are 2 boxes at end of demo...
  14. Codex Interview Talking to Bill about Bloodlust - A Vampire RPG

Thanks everyone for taking a look... Not to make excuses, or anything... lol, but the demo is still kind of rough - some of the quest dialog is just setup to be placemarkers until some real thought can be put into quests, etc... Also... game difficulty may be considered a little too...
