Let's settle this once and for all: Fallout 2 or Underrail?

Fallout 2 is worse than Fallout. At least do Fallout to Underrail comparison. But even so - those are two very different takes on building a game. Would rather have both around.

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Rest in Pieces and Hitman. Always try to use Bullhead before flashbanging like that because sometimes you can bang yourself. Needless reload. In the late game I always find myself using Doc's Pouch because of that.

What game are you wasting time on?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/418240/Shadow_Tactics_Blades_of_the_Shogun/ A refreshing change of pace for me with this Commandos throwback. Good Game.

What's more important for an RPG: Char creation/customization or leveling up?

Game B sounds more like scaling. To give you an example CP2077 does that. Most of the leveling up choices are meaningless as the scaling of the character takes care of pretty much everything. You deal more damage, have more hp, craft better stuff, unlock next tier of upgrades, ect. It's not...

Codex Review RPG Codex Review: Cyberpunk 2077

Two things. You're not wrong and you actually come back with a reason instead of just sneeringly standing on the side. It's true - they could have added a lot more in terms of what happens when you fail a roll. It would have meant more and harder development for sure, but it would have made the...

Ok... so a friend lend me his account and I played through the game... Got about 40 good hours out of it. Yes, despite those hours being good I don't think it's quite enough to justify paying full price. I also don't have any desire to come back. With the risk of sounding ignorant - I struggle...

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Look no further than the ''smart'' sub-category some games have. It could even be a whole category of craftable weapons. The ''smart homing'' module which can be used on any firearm. Needs special ammunition, which are more expensive and/or harder to craft with their own unique part needed...

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Rail-gun. Has a two step reload phase where you have to place a new slug and recharge the gun with batteries. Fires only once per reload. Deals high Mechanical and some Heat damage since real Rail-guns ignite the air with their projectile. Big move and shoot penalty. 100% Accuracy when...

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Was talking about full determinism. That's why I was always highlighting the word. Not that I am desperate to prove a point there but the Rook can both be an mvp or sacked/traded. It's the random human element that makes the game exciting, imo. I probably don't have the time to check that game...
