    The interface is _not_ unintuitive - that would mean that, with some effort, you could 'get' it and still use it. You can't. Walking, looting, equiping - these all are pain.

    It actually has, in form of external program: Adom Sage. There was also one quite unpopular, but bit fascinating renderer which could display both Adom and DoomRL (DoomRL! Honorable mention) in 2d tile or first person 3d mode. Sorry, don't remember the name.
