Crossroads & The Federation Laws.

We are not raiders and griefers. We are lawfull merchants and civilized people. Remember the golden rule. Also every individuals actions will mirror itself back to us as a whole.

  • General Rules
  • No stealing.
  • No Vandalising and griefing.
  • No murders or killings.
  • No attacking of fellow villagers or the surrounding players without reason.

    Town Rules & Personal plots
  • Keep crucibles lit, and a fair amount of blocks for reserve fuel.
  • Keep the gates locked.
  • You can build whatever you want there if it's yours. [changes soon]
  • Plots are personal, no stealing or loaning without permission.
  • No overly foul language.
  • No buildings or structures can be placed outside of the camp or a personal plot without Kruger's permission. This includes mines and public facitlities.

    Raiding directives
The following must be met. Then perhaps a villageleader will approve of the raid.
  • A good reason why to raid.
  • What is the name of the village or camp.
  • Find out the enemy numbers.
  • What kind of armors and weaponry the enemy has.
  • Position on the worldmap of the raidable area.
  • What kind of walls the raidable area has.
  • Any runestones near with information?

    Mining Hole directives
  • Make sure the mining hole doesn't connect with any outside cave system or mine.
  • Have atleast a palisade either above or underground to prevent raids from below. [Keep in mind where you appear from if you build above ground some ppl got stuck when building to close to the mining hole]
  • Build supports, ask a seasoned miner for instructions if you don't know how.
  • Clear cave-in rubble if it happens.

The reason people obey rules is because there's a form of punishment when you break them. Right now we are already seeing the consequences of that, People leave their boats near the sleep area, things like pickaxes or iron plows get lost, there needs to definitve spot for those areas. The logic behind their behaviour is: There is no consequence to your action, so why should i care?
And to punish someone you'll have to find out who did it, there's a handy thing called punishment pyramide. You punish only the leaders responsible for the mining/farming/etc. industry which will punish the people who were responsible. I'm trying to get us there.

Edit: Server is back online.

It's necessary for our Road Warriors to explore surrounding villages from time to time. You know, check things out and such, look for good things worth trading for. Really, it was just an exploratory mission to ascertain the availability of good Q Clay and our abililty to trade successfully for it... Yesss...
