Who cares about the banner that was just an add based on ideals? Capcom proved D&D can be fun as a co-op action game. Besides Daggerdale had about as low as metric score as you will see and Gamepro was lower than the average.

This is the ONLY game that called itself a RPG that I couldn't stomach to finish or even play for more than an hour. Usually I give everything a chance, find something remotely morbidly fascinating in the greatest of turds (as with Arcania) to finish them, but this was just too much.

Dungeon Siege(2) was mediocre as it was. Managing to fuck up and make something that's a lot worse is a feat. If Obsidian is unable to keep up even with the low standard of the Dungeon Siege games, why would anybody expect them to be the last hope of (D&D) cRPGs? Oh yeah, right, DS3 was a fluke. They otherwise make "original", "hardcore" RPGs with solid engines, mechanics and camera. I forgot. They made so many in the last few years it's hard to name them all...
