As long as Steam forum ban doesn't ban you from playing Steam games, it's nothing to worry about. The day they decide to go down that road, however...

So I was banned for a week from Steam forums for having the audacity to put a trade thread in the game's forum in addition to the trade forum. Overkill much?

Porn, gross stuff, or anything else not safe for work
Piracy, warez, Leaked content.

Eh, Armageddon is "okay". It has some heavy pacing flaws and suffers from formulaic combat design (wave spawns - kill wave) but it does have some rather fun moments, which is more than what I can say for a lot of modern games.

Plus,
In the end, a black bro-dude survives after a typical "Goodbye bro, you'll now probly sacrifice yourself nobly" moment, and the chick dies right after chick and protagonist do something utterly retarded
so that kinda redeemed the game a bit for me.

And there's a unicorn that shoots butterflies and rainbows out of its arse that you can unlock apparently.

Sure, it's still a decline TPS game but it's not without some redeeming features.

DEATH TO ALL MODERATORS. THAT INCLUDES YOU JAESUN UNLESS YOU STEP DOWN AND LET GRPG BE FLOODED WITH DRAGON AGE AND SHEPARDS

Seriously, god damn. Only good moderators in any forums are ones that remove ad bots. And possibly channers and goons. Only good moderators are the ones that do what I want.

They're entirely separate, thankfully. Valve is much more bro than EA. About the only reason they'll suspend a Steam account is if you buy shit with a stolen credit card or try to sell your actual Steam account. Even if you get VAC banned your games still work, just ones that use VAC won't let you play MP in VAC enabled servers.

Oh Jesus Angthoron. If only Konjad were still alive, he would love RFA.

I still wish DU would take my suggestion of creating a "Yet Another Shitty Action Game Labeled As A RPG with Little Or No RPG Mechanics" Forum. :(

But they're RPGs because they're RPGs! Are you calling Bioware a bunch of liars!?

That's fine but I'd think the appropriate response would be to delete it or move it and maaaaaaaaaybe a one or two day ban at most. Not like I was advocating the systemic execution of Jews~

Anyhooo I doubt that Duke DLC has much trade value considering no one plays it anymore... and if they do most avoid multiplayer.

They've suspended accounts for griefing on the same server as valve employees. Part of their online code of conduct.

So yeah... that Trauma game that came in the Humble Bundle. Took me 15 minutes to win! I guess there's some 'exploration' you could do but it's basically a much much much lazier version of the Void.

That sounds questionable, you got a link where that happened?
Though while checking up on this a bit I found this in the code of conduct.
You will not:

Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents to do the same.
WHY CAN'T I USE STEAM SCREENSHOTS FEATURE VALVE

I don't have any incisively damning evidence in my internet utility belt but here is some vague comment be a valve employee:

Just last night I was playing on an undercover account and some idiot came in and ruined a great game with his actions. Checked to see that he was a habitual idiot and now he is getting a little surprise today. But that is not a scalable solution.
I see it mentioned often enough that I'll probably be able to produce something more concrete if I remember+still care. I'm not much of a griefer nor anti-steamtard but it has discouraged me from purchasing any more steam games other than the FNV DLCs. Straw that broke the camel's back.

This is the relevant part f the code of conduct:
Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying Steam services, software or other content.

I MISSED CHESSMASTER NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fortunately I don't care enough about the Tomb Raider games for 66% off to entice me.

Have you played Guardian of Light? If not, fucking do it faggot! It's so much fun - even if you don't have a friend to co-op with (I finished it both alone and co-op).

I did check that out, but only for a few minutes. I'm definitely going to play it at some point, it was right up my alley.

Good thing Dungeon Defenders comes out next week as I haven't been interested in any of the Steam sales in a month. Warband was the last thing I bought and I've already played that into the ground. I tried a few mods but the pacing was pretty slow in terms of how you have to build up your army so as you don't get wiped out by the various elite troops that wander the maps.

I know, but hey, I didn't pay anything for it. At the very least it has ARPG elements which will be enough to hold me over until more sales. Let's take a 'What should I play' poll. The choices are:

* Alien Breed 2 (started, didn't really think much of it)
* Frozen Synapse (tried the demo, not really my type of game but got it for $1 in the bundle anyway)
* Half-Life: Opposing Force (started, put it aside)
* Abe's Oddysee (started, put aside)
* Stalker CoP (started, just can't get into it)
* Sanctum (waiting for the new DLC to drop in price but I suppose I can just play without it)

Opposing Force is pretty good. I'd vote for that. Maybe also give the Frozen Synapse campaign a try for variety's sake.
