Meh atleast we get a decent modding platform. But the whole pierced dragon dick/gay dragon concept I dont get, whats with the reptilian facination. Ill take normal porn over it every time, not that there wouldnt be that kind floating around affter release. Still time will tell if something similar to FCOM will surface .

i guess you never heard of Alienslof?

Also, there's footage of the reanimation spell being used on a dead chicken.

Probably was killed for being a snitch.

edit: by the way, watch as this thread gets a million replies while the Magic Candle, Betrayal at Krondor and Black Hound ones get three or four pages, at best

To be fair, the questions asked in the OP of the BaK thread have pretty much already been addressed, aside from one that can only be answered by someone with the GOG version.

The MTV bullshit is what killed it for me. Can't get past the first 10 seconds.

As for the ethereal form, I'd like to see that used for quests and stuff. The idea of dual worlds is a cool one that's rarely explored by RPGs, so being able to become ethereal, a spirit etc. to interact with dead people and other spirits would be a really cool draw. However somehow I doubt that will be the case here.

I think they only said it'll give you invulnerability for a limited period of time and that you can't fight while using it. Although it was pretty cool that you could solve a quest with it.

If more dragon shouts could be used to solve quests then they'd be a tad more interesting to me. Right now, they're just spells with long cooldown periods.

skyrim achievement list. Don't think it was discussed here:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game ... ievements/

Don't care about achievements, but some info can be gained. Namely:

Taking Sides
Join the Stormcloaks or the Imperial Army (10)

War Hero
Capture Fort Sungard or Fort Greenwall (4)

Hero of Skyrim
Capture Solitude or Windhelm

Looks like the main quest will have branching paths. I will of course side with the Empire and put the nativist dogs in their place. :smug:

Gonna kick the Imperials out, then conquer what's left of Morrowind after it got magi-nuked.

Just for the hell of it.

Nope.

Are the main and faction quests branching or linear? What about side quests?
Bruce: We’ve focused on telling one story well. There are decision points in all the quest lines that can change things, but overall it’s a single story. Because the side quests are smaller stories, they are more likely to have major branches. For example, you can decide to save or betray someone, which changes the whole end of the quest. Overall the quest structure in Skyrim is closer to Oblivion than Fallout 3, in that there are many more quests, but they have fewer branches.

Also, what's this doing in GRPG.

They are probably referring to the fact that you still have to fight off alduin in the end, but the achievements pretty clearly show you get to pick a side in the conflict and that the other one is cut off due to the "or" achievements listed.

In other words, it's like the shivering Isles MQ.

Speaking of spriggans there's one in the video. They look pretty cool.

Bethesda games could be great if they didn't forget to add story RPG elements.

They are still quite fun imo even with all their flaws.

"This game which has absolute piece of shit gameplay would be fantastic if they added a story."

I'm part storyfag and I'm doing the retarded-face right now.

Why is the interview so BRO, they are talking about fucking video games, who are they kidding? Although those dragon finisher animations combined with Oblivion combat (Block > hit > hit > block > hit etc.) makes the :retarded: of the interview quite appropriate I guess. Pretty scenery as you explore though, Bethesda still at the top of their game

It's a bigger area than Oblivion so undoubtedly better (MOAR Hiking!), even with what seems like a shittier statistics system as Oblivion's was so bad that it being downgraded doesn't matter. All in all, HARDCORE "RPG" FANS GET PUMPED, 11.11.11!

I like that they snuck in the clip of the giant being utterly without animation when he's picked up and thrown.

It's just the same fucking gamebryo as usual, how can it "look" good?
Also, I can't believe how they could make the interface even more clunky, soulless and cumbersome to navigate through. Truely Bethesda are the masters of trolling the people.

They just can't get the physics right, can they?

The sword impacts don't seem to bother opponents too much..
The troll doesn't even blink when nuked with a fireball..
The draugr flying into the roof when zapped by chain lightning..
And ofcourse.. the famous dragon picking up the giant..

It looks like this stuff hasn't been fixed since Fallout 3.
I just find it absolutely rediculous.. and i'm not even a graphics whore ;)

They really should play Dark Messiah of might and magic sometime.. like others said before me.
It's not perfect but still.. more believable.

EDIT:

The puzzle clue on the Golden Claw looks like a concept taken/stolen straight out of Resident Evil.. which isn't a bad thing if they did it well.
Hope there is more of that.. could be interesting.. but i highly doubt it.
