What I would really like is a widescreen fix. It's a 3D engine for fucks sake and all it does in WD resolutions is to stretch the 4:3 image.

I would recommend to play the original game. And then if you like it enough try one of the mods. The game has tons of content as it is, these mods that add extra quests and make combat more challenging are targeted to veteran wiz8 players.

All you need is wizfast (to make the battles run faster) and you're set to go.

Like what ghostdog said. And this mod is more different than the original game, that's why called reforged. It begins with a nice oldschool dungeon instead of the Monastery for example. Which is optional anyway, so anybody can skip it and try how goes the adventuring on the Arnika road using a Level1 party.
