Shit doesn't explain why he just left that Twilek teen behind with a Dark Lord of the Sith. Only for her to get raped by her pet bear.

I like that the main character's idea (or whoever wrote that notebook) of medical science seems to be processing fungi he finds around and testing the results on himself.

He has a deadly plague and he's trying to find a cure. Look at those hands. They're not the hands of someone who has a lot to lose.

I don't know anything about mushrooms but isn't there some reasonably safe procedure to test them? Like rubbing a bit against your skin and waiting, then chewing a bit and waiting, etc?

Well, he's got a lab to research the plants he collects, so I assume he knows what he's doing. At least to some extent.

Can't wait to play Miasmata myself, but no time atm.

Does the game run okay for you, potatojohn? There have been reports that it runs too slow.

Dude, never ever do that. There are some potent toxins in some of those shrooms: Amanita phalloides. Some of them may be slow working, some of them may taste good (sweet for example) and it won't hit you until it's too late. Don't gather any mushrooms you do not know, even if you do know them, compare them against atlas pictures when you get back home. Good rule of thumb is also only to get mushrooms that have pores on the hat underside, and not those with gills. It doesn't work all the time but will spare you from accidentally picking up the worst poison.

I get 30-50 fps on low settings on my 4850. That sounds bad but the game is weird and there's not much difference between low and high except improved performance. The screenshots are from low settings.

That game struck me as being one to look for. Is it any good so far?

I like to exploit the view, when you are seeing enemy soldiers, but they can't shoot you ;-). Also, the sounds of dying enemies are very... convincing, all these various weapons and the effects on them. And cherry on the cake, last level in No Regret, argh, one of the most intense experiences in action genre.

I bought this game on the THQ bundle, but it came without any DLC. Are they worth it? Should I bother and get them at the next discount? I definitely don't care about cosmetics, but if they have content I feel like I have an incomplete game

I played through it pirated first, that version had all DLC. Compared to no-DLC version I'm using now, that one feels like a cheat mode. You get way too much cool stuff right from the start. It does add some cute stuff, but it's not necessarily game improving. I'd suggest playing through the game without DLC first.

That screen. Gorgeous.

Finally decided to try the 1.13 mod out after finishing my JA2 vanilla campaign that i had put on hold for quiet a while.
And dam, it's pretty great. Moving in to liberate Meduna once more!
