No clue. Was just speaking from a principle perspective. Blood Bowl is still - after 20 patches and two expansions - a relatively broken game.

Broken is far too strong a word. It lacks polish and has a crap AI, but other than that, it's 99.5% there.

If we disregard rules functionality and flashy graphics, FUMBBL is still a better game. That is pretty fucking embarrasing.

We still haven't had one Codex league where less than 5-7 games haven't ended because of the shitty client, and those are just the gamestoppers.

Speaking of Blood Bowl...aren't we just about due for another league?

I must admit I got rather pissy about the last one not being finished because of @hoverdog! I so would have won that shit...

Anyone still playing this? Seems the devs have been busily patching away, and next patch is meant to allow adjusting animation speed. Is this enough to make it worth the buy (on sale), or is it still banal, shit, boring?

KKK on this game plz?

Even with animation speed adjust, game fails with regards to all the little things. Worth buying if you have mates to play it with. Otherwise, avoid.
What little things?

Animations are clunky and interface is troublesome. The game hasn't got much going for it, so as a simple implementation of the board game, the least I expect is that it plays like it but with some digital ease of use. It's almost as easy to just setup and play the boardgame. It sounds like nothing and also thought so when Trash said it, but these nuisances actually become a pretty big part of the game's clunkyness.

It's not a bad game and you get what you expect more or less... but it's not a long-lasting game. The boardgame you can only play so much because it requires people. They didn't really do anything to make the PC version more lasting and more fulfilling to play over and over.

Yep. If a stealer ever gets close, the terminator is minced unless you get really lucky on the roll (they roll 3d6 by default, iirc a regular term rolls just one - tough).
The odds get more even if you use a dedicated close combat specialist, but then genestelers still win by numbers.

The game is very barebones imo, faithful to the boardgame (as far as I know), but does not really excel anywhere. It would have been forgivable had the AI been semi-competent (last time I played, it wasn't).
For single player, all you get is a short campaign (that is neither creative nor compelling nor very challenging, even if you hunt for achievements). Part of it is due to its tabletop origin - there aren't that many pieces to work with in the original as well.
