1C Company and Koch Media UK, its premium publishing label Deep Silver, are proud to announce the signing of the agreement to co-publish one of the most successful Russian action RPGs to date in the UK market: "Blood Magic".

Over 250,000 sales of the hack'n'slash game demonstrate the fascination "Blood Magic" holds. Its outstanding quality is further proven by the numerous awards the original Russian version achieved. Among them is not just "Best RPG/Action Game" and "Best Russian Game ", but also the "Best Debut" award of the KRI-2006 (Russian Game Developers Conference).

The European version of the game will be renamed "Dawn of Magic" and will be released at full price in the first quarter of 2007 with a brand new multiplayer mode and some new features that will be announced shortly.

Well, after playing it for more then a few hours I daresay that it's pretty boring in the long run.
However, I've missed a few balancing patches... hmm. Perhaps I'll give it a shot again sometime.

Even Russian award events have mean, utilitarian names. While Australian's are stuck with the fairly embarrassing Logies and ARIA's, the Russians get a KRI-2006. It sounds like a valve from the radar of a MiG. Its something you'd be proud to own.

Well, it's exactly as GDC-2005.

It still sounds mean in Russian. Game Developers Conference sounds like a LARPers guild, whereas Konferentsia Razrabotchikov Igr sounds like your going to have a car battery attached to your testicles.
