Not a problem for me, but they might want to check that?
Yeah, this is one which I stopped playing immediately after testing out the first release. Kills me to keep seeing the updates on Steam but I'm feeling the wisest choice here is waiting. Have high hopes and pretty good feelings about this, and that's all the alpha needed to do for me.
Thats probably how most people gonna play D:OS :kwafuckyeah:
Were you able to kill Arhu?Pretty much the first thing I did in the alpha was checking for immortal bullshit npcs by killing everyone I came across.

And the game will support it, that's why it will be so awesome.
Due to time and budgetary constraints, we have chosen not to implement day/night cycles for the launch of Divinity: Original Sin.

I wasn't expecting this to really happen. It's almost double the workload of creating an area, if you want to do it right. I wonder what the reaction will be like.
Nooooooooooooooooooooo!
Day and night cycles are out.
Now, I can understand their reasoning, but I guess this will cause butthurt indeed...
No news about the recent update? You're looosing your touch, Infinitron
Very sad about the cut, but it's understandable. An at least we have the CEO of the company apologizing and explaining why, followed by 20 minutes of all the awesome stuff they are making.
I'm not a fan of mini-games, but it makes perfect sense IMHO. Instead of letting stats passively dictate the outcome, make players face off on a short mini-game. Considering my experience co-oping the alpha with my brother, it will be at least very funny.Awesome stuff like a dialogue minigame in co-op (19:35)

Those poor guys look exhausted, but it's still looking like they're going to pull this off. Beta looks like it will already be a big step in terms of polish and features compared to alpha, which was already quite nice.
(Who the fucks care, not even about day/night cycles, but "npcs reaction to day/night cycles" ? Seriously ?)
