Pre-battle army count: 200 skellington warriors, 2 reapers, 8 archliches, 3 shadow bitches, 1 black dragon, 5 spectre dragons, 50 polkageists.

Post-battle army count: 60 skellington warriors

I essentially obliterated the entire enemy force with one summon

because the avatard of deff is totally not ridonk op, no siree.

HoMMV has such crappy interface graphics, especially compared to a game like Kings Bounty which looks fabulous interface wise. Makes HoMMV look like a budget game, while its pretty much the opposite.

After the briefing we get to select our loadout, we don't have room for that prisoner handling kit...

(An M16A2 in the 60's, the devs made a small mistake here.)

Our heroes embark on their epic quest:

You can change the insertion point if you so desire

It doesn't take long before we see a little village in the distance

I order the helicopters to look for Charlie

And request a little pre-emptive strike to tip the odds in our favor

Our boys advance towards the small village

and bring swift justice to the remaining VC

Mission accomplished but we find one last sneaky VC hiding behind a hut

Time to search the scene

we discover some weapons and documents

Now we COULD hike all the way back to the boat...
but not putting our expensive helicopters to good use would be a tragic waste :patriot:

The Seawolf takes our gallant warriors back to base

where they receive promotions and get to enjoy some well deserved R&R

Thank God Antihero for the PanelTweaks Mod (works like charm with 2.1), makes the gui much more bearable.

It just doesn't look the same modded, does it? I think the awkward tiling is the worst offender coupled with the increased contrast.

Edit: Here's unmodded morrowind for comparison, I just took some screenshots in haste. The draw distance was an issue since it's hard to compare how the textures tile when you can't get so far away from them before they disappear into the fog but I tried.

Yeah both games were amazing and are still fun to play to this day but I always preferred the original, darker Carma1. I also backed Reincarnation and I think it looks very promising but it still ran like a dog the last time I attempted to play the alpha.

C2 aged badly due to the early 3d graphics. The vehicles are ok, but the characters looks so blocky and primitive. I prefer the first one, sprites will always remain the same.

Jesus Christ, it's been a while since I've played a game that was harder on the eyes than Wasteland 2. You could take rpg maker and some creative commons sprites and it would look like a masterpiece compared to this shit.

And some Codexers have the gall to claim that Arcanum is ugly.

As a side comment, they REALLY need to cap amount of undead every mob-necromancer can bring back. Cause I was wondering why aren't mobs dying and there are 20 50 100 250 of them in 20x20 room for quite a while (necro res'd all waves I killed before last one).
