Even if you hate Double Fine, you should watch these videos, where they play Doom, and have John Romero as a guest, and talk about cool stuff.

I watched a bit of this yesterday. Romero comes off as a tard and the talentless hack hosting the show couldn't stop saying "Yeah" and vigorously shaking his head in agreement. He also seemed to know as much, if not more, about Doom than John. Overall, both good and bad for nostalgia. I.e nostalgia tastes worse, like having eaten your favorite dish in a sewer full of shit.

Cool, but that Double Fine guy needs to learn when to shut the fuck up. Romero is talking and he's constantly in the background going "yeah" "ok" yeah" "yeah" "ok" "yeah"

Watched the first 2 vids, pretty interesting look at Romero's thought process when designing his levels. I think the levels he built in Doom and Doom II were some of both games' best, and I can hardly believe that he would go on and waste his potential on whatever the fuck he's even doing today, even after Daikatana's failure.

1) Shows you what Double Fine does all day and why they can't produce shit.
2) Romero looks terrible. Needs to find a stairmaster.

Romero looks like a colombian drug dealer, but I can't deny he practically made my childhood.
Romero's talent went to shit because he didn't had his counterpart, that is, Carmack or another guy like him. It happens with movies, bands and etc. When you get a certain status, you get surrounded by suckers who can't say no to your glorious ego.

So, they want to say: "Yes, we know we made unfinished products, over promised and didn't listen to our fans, but instead SJW crowd and con artists, but at least we didn't make Daikatana, amirighte? Now let's play something he successfully made... remember our successful games? Believe!"
