Path of the damned. The only enemies I can remember giving me any trouble were ghosts, ogres and the last boss.

I went through on normal without munchkining and didn't do most of the optional content. Game was obviously tuned toward that as the difficulty remained roughly the same throughout.

There is no argument. I like soloing, here and in IE games, and it's a comment on it. You'll notice I wasn't exactly defending how fabulously difficult POE is. (it's not.)
