yeah... down with all this blustery orchestral opulence featuring melodies lifted from old sea shanties, as though composed by brain-damaged versions of Mussorgsky who spend all day grinding MMOs while listening to old Blind Guardian albums. Minus the budget, all teh great musical heroes of the Infinity engine are just dudes who make harp-heavy MIDI tunes for Kongregate tower defense games, and their fathers probably mangled Irish folk tunes at open mic nights. Stop trying to feed me Powerful Epic Scores you unimaginative bastards.

to future composers of game soundtrack music: do this

I've always liked music from PS1 spiderman games , especially these ones

I also liked who they made Parker big and muscular in those games , I always wanted to see him like that .

Also open spoiler for playlists , those tracks are good as well .

Edit: Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself (the band who composed this song) went on to be a great film composer, most notably for Darren Aronofsky films (Requiem for a Dream, Wrestler, Black Swan).

Unused songs from Bloodlines. At least I hadn't heard them before, although they have been around the internet for a few years now by Rik Schaffer's kindness.

I always wondered where that fragment on Ocean House's discarded radio came from. Lo, Edward's Theme.
