At today's PlayStation Experience, Double Fine announced that the classic LucasArts adventure game Full Throttle is getting an HD Remaster for PlayStation 4 and Vita. Full Throttle was one of Tim Schafer's iconic games during his time at LucasArts. Full Throttle joins Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle as adventure games that have made a return in recent years. It recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Check out our Let's Play below.

I hope the reason they didn't mention PC is that they announced this on a Playstion conference.

Hope they don't fuck it up.

Grim Fandango was pretty good. I am expecting Day of the tentacle to be good too.

Full Throttle holds a special place in my heart. Pretty awesome game.

Won't they let LucasArts rest in peace?:decline:
What's wrong with this exactly?

I despise any kind of remake, as simple as that. Especially this neverending stream of cashgrabs we are getting from Tim Scammer, who is clearly unable of developing good adventure games anymore.

Also, why remake games that were artistically amazing when they came out? Maybe they could have improved Grim Fandango's models and animations, but they already missed the opportunity.

Unnecessary shit pisses me off greatly.

Since Full Throttle is not available anymore for purchase (same with other DF remasters), I think it is a good thing they polish them up them a bit and release them again. The big thing for me is not the graphical remastering (that's why I switch to the old graphics), it's that they are on the market again and I can buy them, since I haven't bought them back in the day.

Codex Year of the Donut Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
In the short term, what I don't like about these remakes is that they're the reason digital rereleases of these games have been held up.

I wonder what's going to happen with COMI and EFMI.

Come on, Tim, where is my Full Throttle 2?

Sad reminder: Roy Conrad is dead.

EDIT: Forgot to say that I think this console conference faggotry is also decline. Seeing LucasArts rehashes announced with casual Playstation crap makes me want to puke.

Same as Grim Fandango. No point in making a game this old an exclusive.

You are working pretty hard to earn those KKK newfag.

You also do well at earning that Double Fine wage, fanbot.

He works for semen. Tim's semen.
Have you tasted it? It's like honey.
This explains why Schafer was jerking off for years instead of finishing the damn game.

I have to admit I played Full Throttle for the first time early this year and... I was expecting a lot more. :?

I will still take a look at the remake tho

You've been misled, then :D

The game was never really that good in and of itself. The big selling point were production values and unusual setting, neither of which helds true nowadays.
