FWIW, it's one of the reasons why Japanese PC/Steam releases are increasing these days.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
If anyone Euro folk are interested in The legend of Legacy, a demo is now available in the Euro eShop. I'm playing it now and then transferring the demo data to the final game so that I don't have to start all over again.

Ghostlight teasing for 2016: http://blog.ghostlight.uk.com/post/ghostlight-in-2016

Also, coming up early this year we will be announcing another JRPG for Steam as well as the Japanese action game that we’ve been talking about in recent weeks. We’ve had a lot of requests to bring this particular title to Steam so I’m sure that a lot of you will be happy to hear about its upcoming Steam release.

Beyond that, we’re also deep in negotiations for quite a few new Japanese titles, primarily to port to PC, and while at this point it’s too early to disclose any details, let me just say that there are quite a few games among them that are really exciting me! Not only are we looking at a few games from a Japanese developer that I’ve been wanting to work with for a long time, but I’ve also been evaluating a Japanese game which - as far as I’m aware - hasn’t even been announced for Japan yet. Exciting!

Well, I guess the leak was real after all (EDF EDF EDF).

The Vita copies of this cost a small fortune anyway. $20 digital? Gimme a break.

It's incredible how this Dangaronpa thing gained SO MUCH popularity in such little time.

http://www.gamasutra.com/view/pressreleases/263728/Heading_Danganronpa_Comes_to_Steam.php

Spike Chunsoft has been dropping clues and now it’s time for the big reveal: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc fires onto Steam this February! The fast-paced murder mystery will be the first of many titles we plan to publish via Steam.

We also launched a Twitter account and Facebook page to bring our games and developers closer to the English-language community. Our door is open to discuss our plans for Steam and future projects.

Though (based on the screenshots) Danganronpa looks like a barebone port.

As long as it is optimized , has both Japanese and English voices and actually uses the mouse it is good enough.
But knowing the history of Japanese pc ports i wouldn't be surprised if they somehow screw it up.

It'd actually be easier with fast-forwarding (?) I hear. Something about going through all the endings?

Compile Heart, Idea Factory and Idea Factory International joined the forces and launched a new brand IDEA FACTORY INTERNATIONAL (don't confuse with Idea Factory International ;))

They're teasing a new game under the new brand: http://www.compileheart.com/countdown/20160126/index.html

I wonder if the brand name is implying simultaneous international (and multi-platform including PC) release.

A bit old news. A Musou game based on an anime based on a manga based on a novel series, ARSLAN: THE WARRIORS OF LEGEND is coming to Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/401890/

Surprisingly Koei Tecmo claims that PC version is on a par with (or even "slightly" better than) PS4 version.

Kemco's Asdivine Hearts is coming soon-ish to Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/406110/

Or you can download official English versions for free here: http://vgperson.com/games/lieat.htm

edit: announcement post: http://playism-games.com/article/lieat-coming-soon

LiEat is a fascinating trilogy of JRPGs that were made in WolfEditor and captured the minds of thousands. It tells the story about a dragon, Efina, who travels the countryside with her multi-named caretaker/reluctant guardian. Appearing as a young girl, Efina has a unique, magical gift: when someone lies near her, the lie will manifest itself as a living monster. Efina then can consume the lie for strength and sustenance: she can eat food for fun, but only lies make her feel full. As she explores the world, she meets other dragons with interesting powers, discovers bizarre and terrifying mysteries, and finds out about her own history as well as her guardian's.

For the first time ever, LiEat is coming to an official storefront, and we're bringing it out both guns blazing! We know this story is too good to break up, so all three games will be available in the same package AND the same Steam ID. That's right, LiEat is coming to Steam! We've partnered with the original fan translator, VGPerson, to give the game an extra polish and make sure everything is perfect. On top of that, we've added thirty Steam achievements, trading cards, wallpapers and emoticons. The adorable nature of the game and its characters will absolutely get you fully invested in these Steam goodies, you can trust me on that.

We are putting the finishing touches on the packages right now, but, rest assured, LiEat is ready and coming VERY SOON to Steam! With one awesome launcher to keep all three chapters in one group, this is the definitive way to enjoy LiEat,

wasn't compile heart already part of idea factory?

Yeah, it is. I think they're emphasizing that all of Idea Factory family (even including American office) joined the force for the new brand.

Touhou Emblem (東方エンブレム) II & III (Doujin/Indie SRPG)
For those interested in LESS T_T's coverage of indie SRPG Vestaria Saga from Shouzou Kaga (Fire Emblem creator) which uses the same game development software.

- 3 Difficulties - only lunatic mode has permadeath, but can be revived with bonus item.
- Even in normal mode, Chapter 1 is not a walk in the park.
- III does not have the optional battle animations.
- No story continuation between series; they are standalone stories
No further comment as I was just testing the gameplay mechanics and have no interest in continuing them.

Here's the weapon-class chart I was fiddling with.

Ghostlight teasing goes on: https://twitter.com/Ghostlight_Ross/

Unannounced Japanese action game has now been signed :) Concentrating on the #Steam release of #CubixxHD but hopefully we'll have more to announce on it soon. We've actually nearly finished the port so it should be ready to go into beta very soon after the announcement :)

Today I've been hearing about some of the stuff we're bidding for at the moment. Some really exciting stuff. Including an action JRPG, a more traditional JRPG, and a visual novel. Not that any of this is guaranteed, and if we get them they will be after the Japanese action game and JRPG I spoke about in the 1st blog post of the year,

Sorry to keep Tweeting out all this vague info, but I really want to tell people about all of this & I can't.

Anyway enough about things we're not ready to announce yet, Today's the launch of the amazing #CubixxHD on #Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/420570 So I hope you're all excited about that :)
