Reinstalled Divinity 2 DKS/DC few years later, resumed my old saves (archer girl), found that saves are not compatible due language (my boxed version is potato), re-downloaded whole game again, duh.

Cleaning Orobas Fjords. Moments of dragon combat are doable with fireball and healing spells. Fragility of my dragon form is not a big deal tbh, no idea why people are mad at it.
Remind me Risen 1-3 first chapter. wherever I go there are new quests to do here and here. Only fedex quests now I have are the one to bring 2 malachits for blind hermit and 3 types of seeds. Other one are better kind. Mind reading is worth use most of the time.
Oh and got laugh when I reminded myself there is not fall damage.
No level scalling make it gud game (+2 to final score), enemies few level higher are doable, just eat arrow or two more.
Worst one are the charging troopers, no way to dodge them. And it hurt.

I think I growed thicker skin for silly writing of Larian, might finish one of them maybe.

Decided to finally play the dead space (the cucking of isaak or jumpscares:the cuckening, still undecided) series, well no1 was one of the most infuriating console ports i've ever had the misfortune of playing, in 2 now and its definitely better though i still don't know why they bothered putting in weapons other than the plasma cutter and the pulse rifle.

After seeing every gayboy hype the shit out of it. I guess 30 minutes is some kind of waste of time? Tried Enter the Gungeon. I remember The Difference Engine. Good controls. Good sountrack. Good artwork. Good simplistic story. Good exploration and gameplay. EtG is none of these. The artwork is pixelated because of course it is in 2016. Fine. Atleast make it good and not I saw better shit in Castlevania 30 years ago. The music sounds like some drunk spilled beer on a keyboard and hit record when wiping it clean. I'd write more on the rest but I'll just go with - it's shit.

Running through 20 rooms shooting bullets and shit. How fucking exciting. THEM GAYBOYS DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT GAYMS.

Nice, you don't even remember the game's name.
"The Chaos Engine."

That game is amazing by the way.

Downloaded the Rainbow Six free weekend. UPlay required. Uninstalled.

I've been playing Nuclear Throne quite a bit even though I suck ass at it. The furthest I've gotten is to level 5 I think. I can't handle these games like I used to.

I'm playing the original Fallout again...for the first time this century, methinks.

I'm using the FIXT patch and even though I haven't touched the game in ages, I can still notice a few differences here and there. I went with the good ol' 640x480 resolution and I'm not complaining.

I have a couple of questions though:

# Can I leave items in a container (say a bookshelf in Shady Sands) and be assured that it'll be there when I come back for it later? It's not gonna get plundered or anything like that?

# Is there an Ultimate Guide to this game out there somewhere? I know Per made one for (vanilla) Fallout 2, but I haven't found one for the first game yet. I did find the Official Strategy Guide...and it sucks balls.

Read a very complete one at Gamefaqs with tips how min max and everything more than 10 years ago, dunno if it is still there. It was there where I learned how to exploit gambling and be fucking rich as soon as I got to the Hub after some play on the cassino.

There's a walkthrough on GameFAQs (Ultimate Character Creation Guide) that goes in-depth into the character builds before having a bizarre, but very detailed walkthrough, involving high-tailing it straight to The Hub and getting rich off the casino before even gaining any levels. What topics it covers it does in great detail, but it skips out on a ton of them. For example I've yet to find a walkthrough that even mentions the possibility of causing a cave-in at the radscorpion caves, or the min-maxing option there that you go in and kill all but one of the radscorpions, then blow the cave for maximum XP (as you can't get XP for both killing the radscorpions and causing the cave-in).

On a whim I checked over at NMA. Seems that most of the Fallout-related stuff has gone *poof* somehow...which doesn't really surprise me.

Yesterday I played some botmatches in Kingpin: Life of Crime. I was using the "Cold Night Bots" mod, which almost vanished without a trace from the internet. Good thing, that back in the pay-per-minute internet days I pretty much burned every download on CD-Rs.
One thing that still impresses me about that game is the visual art direction of the environments. Choice of colors and the use of lighting is top notch. It's hard to find a game that catches the beauty in the desolation of decayed urban environments. It also features some nice weapon effects: The flamethrower is almost as impressive as RTCWs, but 2 years older. And the grenade launcher explosions leave some very nice fireworks with beautiful particle effects, that even bounce of walls as if Sir Isaac Newton himself calculated their paths.

"Die, you rat fuck!" - some random Kingpin bot at the height of his rhetoric

Seems to me like that FIXT thing changes too much based on some dubious rationalizations and some just plain :retarded: like changing the game's icon to remove Tim Cain's face because.
One more of those "we know how to design better than the developers" thing.

I just realized Vault Dweller's FO3 review at NMA is one of the things that are gone. I don't suppose there's a backup version of it still alive somewhere is there?

Everytime I get into Far Cry and get into a good part, I always regret it because it becomes shit right after. I also dislike the checkpoint system, not frequent enough. When I have to go somewhere, I always have to redo a lot of shit in this shitty game.

Thief controls very well, I need to play it more.

Played a bunch of Enter the Gungeon. It was initially hard enough to make me doubt I could manage for several games, then I slipped through the wall at some point and now it feels like one of those "fairly easy in retrospect even though it was forehead-vein-popping for you at the time" deals like Dark Souls.

Each game takes a little too long and is a little too taxing on your concentration to play it after the goal-based stuff is done.

Gave Walking Dead Season 1 a try, completed the first chapter, uninstalled afterwards.

If you're gonna make a game that only rarely gives me control of my character, and force me to watch my character go through pointless ordeals that I could see coming a mile away (slipping in puddles and tripping over everything because *suspense*) while being paper-thin on gameplay and heavy on cutscenes and character interaction, then go write a fucking comic book or make some TV series about it. DO NOT make a game.

Then gave Puzzle Agent 1 a try. About 2/3ds of the puzzles are fine, but there's a bunch of them that are either explained badly or don't give enough variables to work with. Hidden Object Games do most of these far better. Then there's the game itself, a clickathon where the ratio of :conversation: to :game: is about 9 to 1 and cutscenes are purposefully made long and boring for seemingly no reason. Gave up, took a quick look at what reviews had to say about the sequel, uninstalled both games.

Seems that Tales of Monkey Island was TellTale's last decent game.

A pity.

I'm playing way too much of Starpoint Gemini 2. I love space, and this game is all direction so it's fun. I'd love a real RPG with that kind of environment, would be terrific.

Installed NWN2 Complete that I bought years ago on GOG...... Just to rip some of the tracks for my MP3 player. :M There are some really cool tracks on this (and the expansions).
