And there's nothing that prevents using Wilcoxon signed rank test or sign test when comparing a pair of games to which both the same people have given a grade. No causal manipulation is required, you do a simple rank count and see if they actually differ. Will that prevent the Polish manipulation? Of course not. Do I care? Of course not.
