I haven't got it yet, but his first game was very good and, while worse than the first one, his second game was still better than most crap out there.

So this one is a sure bet, at least by precedent and name recognition.

Yeah, same guy that made Darkfall which was one of the few games/movies/books out there that has scared the shit out of me. Very good adventure game designer, so I'll probably give this latest one a shot too. The review makes it sound promising.

If it didn't have the stupid tagline "A Ghost-Hunting Adventure" it would be better. I guess people have to know it's an 'adventure' because "the lost crown" alone might confuse them.

I don't trust JA reviews, but it sounds rather interesting.

I must have been spoiled by Myst production values and was never wowed by the Darkfall games. The first seemed to take place in a remarkably small environment and had a couple of obscure puzzles. The Jenga board part was nicely done, though. The second had a very interesting sci-fi story to it and seemed a little bigger and better accross the board. Neither scared me. I mean, its adventure game, you know you can't die. Though, I guess if you like passing time with adventure games like I do you could do worse.
