If you compare daily unique average, NMA is on 6,597 visitors per day. The Codex is easily above 10,000 visitors per day. Our current month visitors are 250k to NMA's 150k. Last month we had 420k to NMA's 200k. That's over double, baby!

So, come back when you have some real statistics?

Thanks for repeating everything I just said back to me. I already noted Alexa isn't that accurate. Though I should note there that compete seems to have it down pat; you were bigger last month, but otherwise you're at about 2/3-3/4 of NMA.

But that's just the thing, NMA's extreme-dm tracker doesn't even show a fraction of what we actually have. It doesn't count hits to files, the forum, the gallery, es.nma, to.nma, etc. etc., not to mention hits it misses because the program sucks. I'd be surprised if it represents more than 2/3rd of our hits. I've pointed this out to you before, several times, yet you insist on comparing your Webalizer stats to NMA's extreme-dm. You must be stupid, or something.

Yeah, I've asked Silencer for Webalizer before, he just ignores me. I guess he doesn't care as much about penis length as you and I do. Tell you what, one day I'll bug him again for Webalizer, and then I'll come back once again to mock you. Again.

PS: you're so easy.
PPS: I'm also curious, why the spike in March, a period of great inactivity for the site?
PPPS: I also always wondered vs RPGWatch, considering that's a content-heavy site and this is a content-less site, I wonder what kind of traffic they get.

We appear to be in the same ball park, going by the "wildly innacurrate" comparison methods we were using above. Though the 'Watch is certainly more useful as a news site (well, it's where I go to see what's current), I always got the impression our forums were more active, so maybe that evens things out.

I don't really go for this e-penis comparison but what did you want to know? In my opinion, all these websites (Alexa etc) are worthless - show me figures for monthly uniques tracked by the server.

I wish I knew NMA's monthly uniques. I know GB's, and I could use that for e-penis, but that'd feel cheap.

Well, I was curious: according to alexa, RPGWatch ripped out half the users from RPGDot when you and the crew left, grew a bit then, but is currently still about as big as RPGDot is. As in current RPGDot + RPGWatch = old RPGDot.

Now I thought; that can't be right. RPGDot, with all due respect, has been releasing some of the shittiest articles I've ever seen, while the Watch is basically the old Dot++.

It was sad to see the old RPGDot ripped apart like that.

There's a bit of a difference between "wildly incorrect" and "not being that accurate". Seriously, using Alexa (or any of those tracking sites for that matter) to prove anything doesn't work. It doesn't work for big sites and it doesn't work for small sites. Of course, you've only added the disclaimer recently since I pointed out to you how awful Alexa was. The first round of this we did, you were convinced Alexa was some kind of wonderfully accurate tracking system.

Based on numbers you're pulling out of your ass?

All you've got so far is some kind of "rough guess" that NMA has more hits to the forum and heaps of people must be visiting your gallery and completely missing the front page. Take a look at the posts in the forums on NMA and Codex and you find both forums are about the same in terms of activity, with slightly more activity on the Codex forums (Hint: the "new posts since last visit" feature works great).

Eh? I've never thought that.

Based on, as I said, Compete.

Though Compete is no doubt as inaccurate as Alexa, but for some reason you're ignoring all mention of it, hence my prodding.

But yes, heaps of people are visiting our galleries and files without going via the frontpage. Because lots of people, and sites, link directly to such pages. You wouldn't even believe how much traffic SA sends our way that way, but only a fraction of it is to the frontpage.

Sorry I hurt your feelings, dude.

EDIT: you guys aren't helping. Where's the rally to DU's side. This thread should hit 10 pages, at least. I'm willing to troll until it does, even if it takes me all year :salute:

Possibly because we see that the engorged penis duelling between you two is a little sad and unnecessary.

The subject matter is mildly interesting, but really, does it matter who gets the edge in visitor numbers? I've always looked at the Codex, RPGWatch, NMA and DaC kinda complementing each other. At least, I visit all of them, and for slightly different reasons.

Uh, yeah, that's pretty much self-evident.

But that's what makes it fun.

Gawd, don't you know anything about internet drama? :codexdevil:

Why do you keep using it then? Webalizer stats, made from server logs, trump anything you could ever pull out of your ass or off the net. So when our webalizer stats keep saying we're higher than everything you've shown us, I'll keep trusting them (plus also because of the fact that they do actually track real visits to your site and not just retards who use a browser plugin or only traffic from certain countries).

Like I said, numbers you're pulling out of your ass. You didn't really think that when one completely useless tracking tool gets shot-down, switching to another one would be any different?

It's called google. Learn how to use it.

If you actually knew how any of these tools work, you wouldn't keep quoting their figures. The most reliable tools are server logs. The second most reliable are the ones where you put little images or code on your own page (ala X-treme tracker). They are the only things that track actual visitors. Everything else either relies on a browser plugin (which distorts results so much it's not funny... or actually, it is) or magic juju data analysis (read: they make it up).

You'd have noticed then that the Codex forums are regularly busier than NMA.

Making more statistics up again I see. How would you know where that traffic is headed if you're not actually tracking it?

So you want to include people who aren't actually reading the content on your site in your visitor numbers? Awesome. Just create a porn section and dump the x-treme tracker there. That should give you all the e-peen you need.

It's also not that hard to include that little x-treme tracker thing in your forums. Given NMA's forums, gallery and files are integrated, you should just have to stick it in the header to get all your visitors. It's not that hard to do. Come back to me when you've done it and have some better statistics.

Oh please, this is the second time you've run this angle to get server stats so you can check your e-peen. I'm perfectly happy to oblige however. Especially when you still can't show any decent statistics.

Just create a porn section

Brilliant. A NMA porn section would be awesome. I'm all for it. As a matter of fact, also create an Order porn section. It would sure be sick and hence, enjoyable.
