I notice a few posts are referring to a v1.0.42. My temple+ keeps checking and telling me I am running the latest version at v40. I did find a download for v42 at MODDB, but my AVG told me it contained a Trojan.

Is there some way to remove a PC via the console? Attempting it using the registry at the Welcome Wench makes the game crash every time. I am running a solo character, and then decided to change the feat selections, so I made a second character with the same stats and then leveled them up and made different feat selections. When I try to remove the original character, the game crashes every time. Using temple+ v. 40
Can't replicate this issue, can you send a savegame that demonstrates it? Also please send the crashdump and log file too.

As for 1.0.42, I'll file a false positive at AVG and see if it helps. Also, have you enabled automatic updates? It should be updating to 1.0.42 by itself. Or are you running the installer every time you run the game?

I have automatic updates enabled, and every time I open temple+ it checks for updates, and concludes that I am running the latest version with v40. I am not using the installer to open the game each time. I have a shortcut for the .exe file. I will take a look through my save files to see if I have any from that game that had the problems. I may have overwritten them since. If not, I will try to replicate the problem with my current game.

I got your savegame, apparently it doesn't crash in the latest build whereas it does in 1.0.42. A bit odd but I guess it should be ok in the next version.

It's nice to play with proper widescreen support, but 1920x1080 is a bit too zoomed out for the UI so I stuck to 1366x768. Unfortunately, I get the mouse-scrolling bug mentioned above when trying to reach the screen's upper edge.
Fixed 1.0.56

Another one I noticed is that whenever I exit a dialogue by pressing a number key, the game immediately selects the character assigned to that slot. Perhaps it's buffering input as without vsync it's running at quite a high FPS (this might also explain some of the aggressiveness of the camera).

Edit: Tried out Co8 and the same dialogue issue is present there -- don't remember if it was in the original -- so probably not the FPS-cap issue.

BTW, did I see here that you fixed the fog-of-war reload bug? That deserves to be in the Changelog; it's been one of the most obvious glitches in the game for ages. Thanks!

Anyway, I am just here to report 2 minor issues that I found:

Not sure if this is of any relevant, but I used a trainer to change my PC stats before starting the game.

You can just extract it to a folder on your desktop or something and run templeplus.exe.

Edit: I was able to take Practised Spellcaster with no issue... maybe try turning Non-Core on and off before running the game?

Hi guy.
Good job with the new version. Combat is a lot smoother now with all of the new features. Still, the last few levels in the temple is getting very easy. Probably because I choose "max hp on level up". It would feels less like cheating if there is a option for max hp for all creature.

Anyways, I just want to ask if Eldritch Knight levels count for crafting purpose? My Mage5/Fight1/Elrkn2 cannot craft the greater bracer of archery, which require caster lvl6, however, she can make the speed enchantment, which require caster lvl7

I guess it is a matter of opinion, and I respect yours. However, if you would welcome a little debate, here is my two-cents:
  1. I really dont like it if my PC are not perfect, :obviously:, but I want the same rule to apply for everyone
  2. Lower hp is really hard at the beginning
  3. A fighter with reach weapons, combat reflex and greater cleave is much more powerful at lower hp setting.
  4. My rogue with haste and improve two weapon fighting can deal upward of 100 hp per turn, it would be a waste if there is no one with that amount of hp to kill.:argh:
  5. I like longer battle, with more tolerant to early mistake and random initiative.

Of course, there are fun at the other setting too, but it is just not for me. For some reasons I dont like randomness.

Hi guys. I am sorry to report another bugs (should I be sorry?):cry:

I kill the Balor, but no fire gem. I am using the latest update, and these are the 2 save files in the fire node, one before and 1 after the Balor fight.

Also there is a funny bug in the previous fight with Hedrack, because I run away from the Izuz avatar so fast, he cant initiate the dialog, and keep summoning St. Curbert. By the time I approach and the dialog initiate, there is an army of St Curbert standing around.

I had a similar problem with a Radeon HD 5850 gfx card, I ended up buying a beast of a Zalman GPU fan for it, now it occupies 3 slots worth of expansion space inside the case but it also runs cooler than the other card it's crossfire linked to. :D

I am experiencing crashes whenever I try to use the "Import Rival Party" feature as documented here: http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/701/700525/profile/rivals.jpg. Clicking on one of the names under "Rival PCs" triggers the crashes. Also, I am unable to access the "Edit Object" menu.

A .dmp file was created, but it appears that I have no way of attaching it. The following entries were added at the end of my TemplePlus.log:

Can you upload the relevant savegames? (The one you play and the one you're importing from)
You can put it on a temporary host service like wikisend.
