The Witness is a stunningly pretty game. Screenshots don't really do it justice because one of the most impressive elements is how well framed everything is from every possible vantage point. It feels like static, pre-rendered backgrounds, like in Myst or RHEM, despite being full 3D with full movement; I assume that's what one of the overall aims was with the game and they were definitely successful.

There are so many perspective easter eggs in this game, great walking simulator. And it comes with a good puzzle game too.

It's a trilogy but the first and third games are very short (the first one is still a fun nonsense concentrate).
The second one is longer and is a fun game with good puzzles.

Doom 3 : Resurrection of Evil


RoE is a very good expansion in which we can finally defeat the person responsible for the whole mess - Malcolm Betruger. We quickly find out new weapon - the grabber. It basically can grab the monsters projectiles and use it against them. It's very helpful at the beginning, when we need to conserve ammo. Later on there is another good addition. What I'm saying... A yuge addition which is a super shotgun. That baby in close encounters is invaluable. The difficulty is ramped up higher, but the whole campaign is much shorter than the basic game so we don't feel bored and the ambushes are more varied. Nerve Software who was responsible for RoE were consisting the people from Rogue Entertainment (Strife, addons to Quake and Quake 2). Of course we have new enemies as well. Vulgars, which are basically more dangerous imps caught me off guard due to their silent walking ability. We also fight three Hunters, who are basically mini-bosses before the final showdown. Good conclusion of Doom 3.

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard

A diablo clone about vikings.

So your village got attacked, you help defend it and they make you a chieftan. Well, you are really a servant that gathers wood, iron and gold so everyone can upgrade their houses.

You need to find out who is attacking your village, unite other tribes and kill some ugly bosses.

Also the Imperium Romanum invades your land but they are a joke (at start)

And you decide to visit them back. How rude.

Slow-down camera finisher.

Well the game has 5 playable characters each with different weapon, there is a dodge skill to avoid harder attacks and not alot of skills.
It has some bugs and some parts of the story sometimes fell like its added later and its just a filler.
The most annoying thing in the game are the chalanges to collect, kill, destroy x number of something that give bonus resources that are sometimes very hard to see rocks on the wall.
