YES!
I think i already decided what game i going to play, this game is praised as a cult classic and looks very interesting ! i talking about this game:

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

Now that i have a game "supposed fun to play" you guys can all fuck off with your Popamole Turn-Based shit ! Real-time rules on my PC !!!!

What if EYE Divine Cybermancy has an ability that slows or modifies time so it isn't real?

Slow motion time still in Real time you know....just slower

Then stopped time in turn based is real time....just stopped.

Obvious troll is obvious. The only question - whose alt are You?

not really troll dude i just sick of people praising boring turn-based games just because "muh turn-based !" "muh hardcore games !" "muh real time is clunky !" "muh decline !"...I have played Dark Messiah straight from start to end,i enjoyed alot of that game but when i play the original turn-based Might and Magic series i just get BORED TO DEATH !!!!

by the way guys its been a long and productive thread ! thanks your all ! because of this thread i remebered that i still in need to play Cybermance, deus ex 2 and others games.Anyway i think there too much turn-based lovers here,i think i going to have better luck with a more hardcore and less gay website like NEOGAF and RPGWATCH.

Not all turn-based games are boring ! icewind dale and baldurs gate is very fun to play ! atleast for me,so i am not really a turn-based hater.

Re: Dungeon Lords
It's a crappy game that is still capable of being fun (esp. in co-op). There are some decent dungeons; decent enough in that if it had been a blobber like Wizards and Warriors rather than some crappy attempt at an action game, it may have been genuinely good. Play it, like it, join the SGLF. :salute:

That's an arpg and you specifically said in the first post you don't like them.

what ? i said i don't like Diablo clones ! Action RPG≠Diablo.

Its a Diablo clone.

so its really a diablo clone but in third person...one day i should try out this game just because of the camera angle, besides, people give average reviews to this game so naturally i am more attempted to play it.

I Got my ass kicked by a mutant in Fallout 1 some minutes ago ! not because i am a bad player, not because i made mistakes, but because random numbers in the combat system decided that the mutant will crit and kill me next turn.

Then people call me a troll for not taking turn-based combat seriously.

Not sure if the OP is trolling or not, but I'll bite...

My personal favourite would be the much-maligned Cursed Crusade - and here are things I love about it: 1. The Latin Empire setting that I'm a sucker for (You even fight the Varangian guard!), 2. Overall aesthetics and art direction are superb 3. Combat is not easy, but not mindbogglingly difficult as in DS games either, just the perfect balance for me (nice gore, too, and loads of different weapons) 3. The siege (And subsequent capturing) of Constantinople is extremely well-staged - maybe not very realistic, but very effective. The game would be even better off without the completely unnecessary demonic dimension, instead focusing on court intrigues and three way wars between Greeks, Bulgarians and Crusaders.
