Yeah, the more I see it, the more obvious this is. Tool effectiveness needs to be increased significantly. I dont have issues with it being a money sink, but mid-late game there just aren't enough tools to go around.

I think even letting you upgrade your supply carry capacity would be good too, similar to the cart upgrade ambition. Or hell, make each apprentice background give you an efficiency bonus or something.

I'm buying every tool, no matter the price, yeah. Maybe there needs to be tools 5x as expensive but 8x as effective for some kind of bulk deal, or something.

Anyone had a problem with invalid targets (raised zombies you can't target; they can hit you but you can't hit them, which means you can't beat certain fights, even when quest related)?

I have to say that the stability suffered a bit with the DLC.

It's not crashing constantly, but every 2-3 hours the game freezes and I can only 'Alt-F4' out of it.

I encountered a handful - if that - of crashes to desktop in EA, but in over 1400 hours there weren't any freezes I can remember with the vanilla game.

Edit: This is the exact moment of the freeze: the graphic below (the turn order, or whatever you call it) comes in. Maybe it has something to do with using the new 'End Round' button?

Maybe it's only my system, but this happened multiple times now at the end of the fight. Possibly an overlap of the 'The Enemy Retreats' Graphic on screen and the 'Do you really want to end the round' graphic?
Had it once. It's not freeze. I tried pressing other buttons and i think retreat responded. After this i cancelled retreat and fight ended.
Hmh, it happened again, I pressed every key, but it's still stuck. I could hover over the 'order bar' and it showed me the yellow arrow, but other than that nothing. the only way out was to close BB.

I think it's the moment when the 'turn order bar' appears on screen, as you can see it's not centered. Oh well. Just posting here in case rapsdjff wants to have a look.

Edit: it's not centered normally either.

This was introduced with Thursday's update, but hotfixed like 3 hours later. Shouldn't be an issue anymore if you run the latest version on either Steam or GOG.

First time this has ever been reported to me. I'll have a look after the holidays.

Cool. Maybe it's just my system, but I haven't noticed any problems with other programs.

It could be related to pressing the 'End round all' button close to the end of a fight.

Merry Christmas!

I'm playing a Steam version but I ran into it on Wed. Didn't touch the game yesterday or today. Will give it another try tomorrow and let you know.

It does become a problem in late game, especially if you play a random seed and aren't cherrypicking perfect markets. Any heavy encounter for me now requires a 1-2 day tool hunt that really kills off momentum when im trying to enjoy the game and explore the map.
I heard you can insta-repair at a smith but i dont know if that's economically feasible for people like me who cant rack up 10k+ with ease.

Also I know its a cliche request, but a personal stronghold or stash warehouse you can own would be really convenient. The expanded inventory wont be enough once i start collecting named items on top of spares, specialist battle weapons and crafting loot.

So another experiment of mine gone awry: I assembled a team of 10 graverobbers + 1 historian in hopes of farming uniques via the graverobber event. 110 days in game, got 16 uniques!
All shields. every single one of them.

Either increase amount of tools that appear to buy and amount that you can carry(could be increased by ambitions), add some tools to be possibly bought in specialized shops(armor-smith/weapon-smith) or double repair speed and efficiency in repair armors.
Nerfing tools was a way to reduce profits from selling looted and repaired weapons but it make maintain armors to tedious. Most of the armors have terrible sell back ratio anyway and its not worth to repair to sell in currenbt state.
Currently i just carry dozen of spare armors
>need some sort state of armor/helmet indicator (sim9ilar to health one but color coded)
to switch between fights.
Not perfect solution.

Ok, does anybody know wich enemies have the 'Backstabber' perk?

Would be nice to know how useful 'Underdog' really is... .

why does it matter if they have backstabber?

it§s a -5 to be hit per enemy surrounding you regardless of if they have the perk

Backstabber doubles the Bonus to +10%, Underdog negates that too.
Hedge knights, knights, sergeants and bandit leaders, according to steam iirc.
Thanks! Not as many as I thought. I guess I'll still take it on every melee Bro, though maybe I could get by without it on a 2H Mace guy in the middle... .

You're outnumbered a *lot* starting around day 100. It's pretty much automatic at level 6 for all of my melee bros. It helps that most of the other level 6 skills kind of suck.

Actually, I wonder if I should use reach advantage more on my 2H bros, at least the ones with multi-hit weapons.

Maybe orc warriors & berserkers too (reasonable) although i dont remember them explicitly mentioned. I always take underdog on my frontliners. Back-row polearms usually have no use for it.
