So, I finally obtained a full version of Darklands...

I remember a spiral manual of a flight sim i had that was very nice. It had profile pictures of all warplanes on the war (WW1). I can't recall what it was, or if it was pc or the amiga version. Could be Red Baron or Dawn Patrol or something but i never saw that manual in the downloads.

Mother threw it off god (?) bless her soul.

How do I use the Hardarmor potion? I press the "p" key on ibn Yazid's Hardarmor potion and my 37q plate armor that I am wearaing is still 37q?

Sounds like Red Baron. The manual also had things like brief biographies of famous aces and diagrams of dogfighting maneuvers. It also came with separate paper maps of the front so you could navigate.

Still have all that swag. :)

Yes, you can buy Darklands on GOG
https://af.gog.com/game/darklands?as=1649904300

Here is a a site with a list of patches and misc. tools for Darklands too
http://www.darklands.net/files/files.shtml

I was messing around with that site and some of the sound patches trying to improve the sound from the stock setup. It seemed doable and quite an improvement IIRC, but it was fairly complicated so I gave up trying for a bit. I don't want to play the game without optimal sound as I can get so I'll be looking to get that set up the next time I want to look at Darklands again.
