All of the new classes were added in mods "Arcanist, Bloodrager, Shaman, Oracle, and Witch", and stretch goal Warpriest too. I doubt they'll just take the mod, but looks like they think that those classes are wanted by the player base.

While mods do work. They sometimes work in half assed manner. No special items for clases too. Features lite etc.

Creative Director: It is an interesting question. This time around, time plays differently. There isn't as much focus on time. Time does pass but some events are not tied to time. It will be more difficult for us to incorporate seasons in a way that makes sense to the setting.

Creative Director: Right now, we have a camera that can be completely rotated. In Kingmaker there was only pan or zoom. This allowed us to make more vertical spaces, and huge citadel walls. Basically it is more atmospheric and provides immersion. In Kingmaker since we only had pan and zoom, it reduced the work load we had to do. Since players won't be able to see certain objects. We ended up not making full objects. But eventually we understood that our processes worked in such a way that it was easy to make a complete object and work with it. So, we essentially we ended up with most of the objects completely made. So we realized if we rotated the camera we could do a lot more interesting stuff. Rotational camera also fits with the narrative and scale of the game.

Creative Director: It's a tricky question. The reason it is tricky is because I will end up spoiling the story. Let me phrase it this way, selecting a mythic path is a important choice when progressing through the story line. But it is not the only choice. And that is where Legend comes into play. But to talk about that I will have to spoil the story.

Q)Are mythic paths alignment locked?
A)
Creative Director: Yes but no, but yes. Some of the mythic paths are really easy to find. Some of them you have to find and perform some deeds to be worthy of choosing the path. For Lich, you will have to do some very nasty things. While doing so, it will have an impact on alignment. If you are planning on becoming a Lich and you are following the path and performing the decisions for the path, your alignment will change to evil. It is kind of limited on one hand, but on the other hand it ties into the theme and decisions. But you don't have to perform all evil choices, but you do have to do some, otherwise you wont progress your path.

Creative Designer: It will be a different system. In terms of the troops and army, you will be sending them to a global map of the region in order to fight demons. It will not be like event cards from Kingmaker.

Creative Director: In Pathfinder: Kingmaker, tutorials were mostly about playing this type of game. Some of the tutorials were devoted to teaching the Pathfinder rule set, some were about the interactions and mechanics of the combat. This time around we are making several more systems to help. We are making a tutorial that will be teaching players about the rules of the system, which is separate from the game. Another thing we will be providing is a lot of advice and guidance based on the choices you are making. Similar to a Dungeon Master from table top. For example, lets say a new player wants to build a ranger who is very charismatic. Will we will try to guide the player to also spend points into dexterity, because you need dexterity to shoot a bow. We will also recommend feats that will allow the new player to shoot better. The tutorials won't just be for character creation, we will also highlight stat/item stacking. We are trying to give you a lot of information and advice on the system, and how it could be working.

Q)What influenced the development of the game?
A)
Creative Director: First of all, the Adventure Path. It is a very interesting adventure. Epic in scale that allows you perform unimaginable goals. It starts really well, and progresses quickly. We enjoyed it. Another reason, there are a lot of games that tell about demonic invasion. Most of them tend to gravitate towards more action and less story. We wanted to focus on the story, and explore a lot of themes. Like what it takes to withstand the demons, what happens to people when under this situation. Do they get corrupted? Do they break? Do they get stronger? There is a lot of themes in the game as well. There is also the topics of power, and the price of it. Will you sacrifice people to end the demonic invasion, or will you save everyone. These are the types of choices we wanted to explore in the game. We wanted to tell a story about demons, and demons tend to do a lot of bad things.

How come it feels like there's a million people jerking off turn based gameplay and begging for it but the mod only had like 20 thousand downloads last time I checked?

20,000 is a lot when they're all talking.

Second row, right column. The game is already in alpha so it shouldn't take them long to put together a build to send to backers. Pathfinder: Kingmaker backer alpha was released two months after the Kickstarter campaign.

Kickstarter doesn't have an interface for add-ons. You manually add extra money and then later Owlcat will ask you what it was for.

Hm okay. I seem to remember otherwise from previous kickstarters, in there being a clear add-on button for addson.. otherwise, it can be a little chaotic and messy to find out what rewards you got for what

Maybe it was figstarter that had that with wasteland 3 or something. Anyway, thanks.
