Hm.. you could just profit off the Terrified villagers for a bit longer IMO.
I thought terrified villagers buy stuff at crazy prices to simulate panic buying.

Iirc terrified villagers is pure negative status. They don't want to deal with strangers. Ambushed trade roads on the other hand is exactly this - high prices, because supply is short. That's why we won't help them with their bandit problem.

I'll test it anyway, because current plan is - return to allied village and buy remaining amber and maybe some cheap hats to cover Lagole Gon's fabulous hair. Or not. Lagole Gon do you want to wear some ugly hat?

So who's taking bets on who our first casualty will turn out to be? I vote for Lagole Gon

Toss up between Kelarion or Sukhavati due to their positions on the flanks and if necessary to be sacrificed to save the far more valuable sling sis bros from wolfrider dog breakthroughs.

First thing we ecountered on our way back is some nachzehrers attacking caravan. Because we are respectable human beings of course we decided to help fellow travellers and get some easy exp.

Caravan guards actually attacking enemies - rare sight. Must be because of our superior numbers. So we should move too.

Easy win.

We managed to secure 4 of 5 kills. I think it's ok.

Loot is... well... it could be even worse.

And Citizen is our first level 2 peasant.

After battle Brother Mother Frank tried to pull some womynz trick on us.

but got bitchslapped

First i decided to visit that village with lots of amber and maybe do some job for them. And they actually got contract for us - escort caravan to exact same town we just left. Very convenient! I'm planning to return anyway, to sell our goods. But first let's visit our home village.

Climbed some mountain to see if there is any good stuff we missed. There is one more village, but i don't see nothing interesting about it so i have no plans to visit it yet.

Our village still have only 1 amber left but it's better than nothing. To make trip less useless i bought some food for our horde, shitty hat and 2 cheap daggers, so now we can try and shank rich people for their clothes. Gave them to Grimwulf and Kalin, because they have decent enough armor to stand near enemy,

VOLzA2l.png

Before starting caravan job decided to buy some amber in second village too. It's very overpriced, but if my calculations are correct we can still get some small profit.

Pay is meh, but it's very short distance and peasant horde+guards is usually enough to scare bandits away, so it's basically free money...

16L7o2f.png

Nothing we didn't killed before

mHhe2HO.png

This time guards decided to not help at all so we are on our own here

DhIzhnr.png

Spigot's hits are rare, but if he hits - it hurt

6GKgJcd.png

Retarded bard tried home run but was raped by suddenly active guards. I tried to kill steal but missed.

M2GdmOI.png

Poacher and two thugs decided to run. After this battle everyone is level 2. Except Baud, who's being useless again and our shitflingers who at least sometimes hit things, but never managed to kill anyone.

Oh, and Grimwulf too, because he's just lazy ass!

Storyfag is fag!

V7DnE0x.png

No more accidents.

U1TNBEL.png

There is some nice stuff for sale, but we are too poor.:negative:

cLt64it.png

And yes - i was right. Small profit - still profit. Sold amber and monster parts.

"Well supplied" replaced "ambused trade roads" so bandits outlived their usefulness. We still can accept quest to kill them so that's what we will do next.

Also, after finishing caravan escort mission EVERYONE is lvl2. Even Baud. EVEN GRIMWULF!

Basically you visit settlements with different facilities and unlock them for your camp. At this point we have some, but because we playing on easier economy settings it's not that important. At least for now. We just don't have any spare equipment to scrap. We'll start soon just to not spend money on tools at least.

I'm betting on Kalin.
Kelarion then, Sukhavati has 2 battlebros to screen her so might survive longer.

My bet is on Baud. There is just something ominous about him. I mean - i understand why, for example, Spigot is the way he is, but Baud is just average dude, but he's keep failing everything...

Let's say, next equipment upgrade goes to anyone who guesses it right...

If you are not in the game yet i will hire you in nearest settlement. No trying before hire because i'm cheap, but i promise at least it will be something i would actually hire for my peasant horde.
So people can bet on you in next round.

Remember to introduce my boy as well brah! Also - am I the only one not lovin' the layered armor system? They were saying stuff about aesthetics, but after first few layers, everyone look like a fucking noble in cloaks and shit. I don't like it. WHERE THE FUCK IS NUDE STEEL I WONDER.

Clarification about equipment upgrade - next ONE piece of equipment we loot that would be direct AND proper upgrade compared to his stuff goes to winner without any questions. For someone like Kalin we are talking about military grade equipment, like chainmail or helmet, for someone like Spigot in sackcloth and with shovel it's at least militia tier i.e. at least 60-70 durability armor or real weapon.

And yes - if we loot something really nice, like famed item before anything else it counts too, so for example Baud CAN potentially get golden armor of empreh of dorfkind and won't be able to move.
