Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Not directly, no, but I see it as an awkward round-about implementation of just that. Why else have that requirement to retire someone with an injury? Do we hire someone else with an injury when we drop off an injured guy at the retirement home?

Yeah, I don't think it's your brother directly becoming the sergeant, more like a veteran sergeant seeing your company dismiss a crippled brother and offering his service to shape up the new meat.

We don't even know if it's tied to achievements. In Star Traders: Frontiers all unlockable rewards are based on achievements. That is, once you do something (visit 10 planets, complete 10 spy mini games, whatever), you receive an achievement on steam, and the reward gets unlocked for any other game you start. Maybe they will implement this system in BB, minus the renown of course, that one would always be a requirement I expect.

Man, when you play Lone Wolf origin, events dont recognise your main character as your avatar, but as a normal bro. So you have retarded situations like talking to yourself.
To be fair, traumatized lone warrior with PTSD and hallucinations is totally a valid thing.

really low hype updates so far

I guess they are saving more interesting stuff for later but eh

10% exp bonus is really stupid way to implement this btw because it basically doesn't really impact your recovery mechanics(you are able to afford training halls for new recruits anyhow) that much while adding like next level frontier for development of already high level bros(for whom you cant afford training halls)

it should have been something like +100% exp below lvl 5 + 30% exp below lvl 7 + 10% below lvl 10

or something along those lines

I guess having the followers use the same models as fighting bros wouldn't work because of "women and children", no way they are adding new randomized models just for that. Having them as town merchants that travel with you (which is how it looks like in the screen) is probably the right call. Still, the way of acquiring the drill sergeant is very awkward, you can use a level 3 beggar with an injury but not a level 10 retired soldier, appointing the drill sergeant should be done in the company window, with requirements something like at least level 8 and 50 resolve, the injury requirement sounds cool, but it's very awkward mechanically. You also lose whatever background and trait linked events you'd get from the brother that gets turned into the drill sergeant because technically he's left the company. Also the followers apparently only want money up-front and don't get paid and don't eat? The more I look at it, the less sense it makes.

Itt, there are already wymmin models in game. Like I said, most every npc with dialogue in the game has the legless ragdoll. It is really shitty if they go with the merchant style illustration. I don't really see the point.

Is this shit worth trying to save up money for? I haven't seen any armors with 400 before now, and I seldom find any named equipment in the wild.

Nah. It's never worth it to spend ALL on one piece of equipment. You buy things you can afford.
On the other hand, once you're able to amass 40k-50k coins, you might as well spend it on these armors. You'll not find (much) better for a Battleforged Bro.

Upgrading one bro's armor at the cost of all your stash is not worth it. It's still just one bro. If all your people already in endgame stuff - yes, you can go for direct upgrade for someone valuable. If not - just upgrade others.

Has anyone found named/legendary bows or crossbows? I've found plenty of melee weapons and armor, but never any legendary ranged weapons.

They're scarce, until you get a good ranged seed and you have too many of them, even had a Bow + 1 range with the Legends mod once but it was a buggy previous version and i had to stop that playthrough, so sad ...

Do gobbo bows count?
I've found several that were wielded by named Ambushers.
Standard warbow is better in every way than those.

Never seen named bowmaster or such.
