A message to our visitors regarding COVID-19

A message to our visitors regarding COVID-19. Last updated: 13th March 2020

According to many, Rezzed is the best games show in the world. It doesn’t take half a day to walk from one end to the other. It isn’t deafeningly loud, and every room offers something different. It’s a great mix of indie games, fun experiences, cool spaces to hangout and has the odd blockbuster dropped in. Loads to do and perfect for discovering a hidden gem.

Every year the Rezzed team work long and hard to deliver the best possible experiences for everyone who attends the show. We know exactly how much Rezzed means to so many people and we’re passionate about creating a safe space for you all to get together, be yourselves and experience the most amazing games from the most creative minds, with the most amazing community. The well-being of this community, from our attendees and exhibitors to our staff on-site is of the utmost importance to Reedpop, and we take pride in creating a positive environment to celebrate indie games and indie game culture.

Having monitored the situation around COVID-19 constantly over these last few weeks and following many hours of conversation internally and with our partners, we have taken the incredibly difficult decision to move EGX: Rezzed to Summer 2020 with date and announcement forthcoming. We did everything that we could to try to run the event as planned, but ultimately, maintaining social distancing is neither feasible at, nor in the spirit of, the interactive and community nature of Rezzed. It is the community that makes Rezzed so special and it is our duty to make sure that your safety comes first.

To all our fans, your ticket(s) will be valid for the new Rezzed dates and no further action is needed on your part. Should you be unable to attend the new dates when we announce them or have any additional queries please contact our Customer Services team click here to email.

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the COVID-19 virus in what is an incredibly challenging time, and we remain determined to run EGX: Rezzed in 2020 for everyone who has looked forward to and wants to attend the show.

Thank you for all the messages we have received over these last few weeks, this feedback has been invaluable in helping us determine these next steps.

Stay tuned to our website and social channels for the latest information about when three days of indie gaming fun at EGX: Rezzed will take place.

From some reason some guy (Mastering Manager and Licensing Coordinator) at Square Enix did small updates to the original Tomb Raider trilogy on Steam.

He added windowed mode option to the first game and client icons to the second and third games.

heya,i just updated to add a `Run in Windows mode` option..

Yeh i had to work within the limitations of the game version currently hosting on Steam..

EA SUSPENDS ALL COMPETITIVE GAMING LIVE EVENTS
A New Update After Last Week’s Initial Communication on the Impact of Coronavirus

This is an unprecedented time. With so many changes happening around the world to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, we are now announcing that we’re suspending all live events for EA’s competitive gaming series, including the Apex Legends™ Global Series, EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 Global Series, FIFA Online 4 Live Events and Madden NFL 20 Championship Series. This includes EA-operated events as well as third-party events run under license from EA. Additionally, this includes all competitive gaming content except for broadcasts that can be individually produced remotely. Online events, where participants and staff are remote and separated will continue. This suspension of events and broadcasts will start today, March 13th, and will be in effect until the global coronavirus situation improves.

Our priority is protecting our competitors, our employees, our partner’s employees and our communities. As we continue to monitor the situation around the coronavirus and receive updated guidance from health officials around the world, we will use this time to determine next steps for moving forward with all of EA’s Competitive Gaming live events and online broadcasts.

Thank you for understanding. Please be safe and be well. We look forward to returning to our events and broadcasts when the time is right.

IGN finally makes something worth watching, but even then the production could have been better, the video and audio quality were amateurish.

A group of Brazilian fans announced The Last of Us: Bound, a short film that gives an alternative continuation to the story of Ellie and Joel. Led by Alice Monstrinho, who wrote the script for the short film, the group of fans managed to finish production in just four months. The project had a low budget and was producing among friends and fans of The Last of Us. The first teaser of the short film was published today, but the full short will only be published on April 23. The teaser predicts a more grown-up version of Ellie and a date an encounter with an infected person, in addition to other scenes.

The filming of The Last of Us: Bound took place in Florianópolis. Alice Monstrinho had the help of Bruno Nascimento in cinematography and photography, and Baltazar Sobierajski in post-production and image treatment. The production was made in partnership with the fan page The Last of Us Brasil and will be published in its entirety on its Youtube channel. See the teaser of the short film and tell us what you think in the comments.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
Attention, locked-up people!

Mýrdalssandur, Iceland is a jaw-droppingly beautiful first person exploration experience that allows you to wander around and take pictures of a near-photorealistic recreation of the outwash plain of Mýrdalssandur, on the South coast of Iceland.

Created by Caves Explore Fushimi Inari (Explore Kyoto’s Red Gates), Mýrdalssandur, Iceland is a wonderfully scenic and chilled out experience which allows you to explore a near-photorealistic recreation of Mýrdalssandur, in Iceland. It’s a flat, rocky area created from sediments in glacial meltwater, surrounded by huge, looming mountains, valleys and even a picturesque waterfall. It was even used as a filming location to represent the planet Lah’mu in the opening scenes of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

You can just wander around and marvel at the scenery in Mýrdalssandur, Iceland if you want, but there’s also a camera to find that allows you to take pictures. The pictures you take are saved to your hard drive and if you take pictures of nine specific areas then you’ll unlock a new area and an ending.

To complete the Icelandic experience you only need a fan to blow a chilling wind in your face.
