I don't like SJWs either but the game is kinda bad.

Only for incels under 5'8 who still live with their parents and will never marry and reproduce. For everybody else it is one of the greatest RPGs ever written.

The same kinds of ultrawinning snowflakes who break down in tears when Starbucks runs out of mint cappuccino were also unhappy with Grimoire. At home behind a secret wall in the pantry they have mason jars collecting their own bowel movements going back 10 years. When they are not playing casual games, they lock the door at home, dress up like Sailor Moon and slowly masturbate while they look at themselves in the mirror.

...and then Cleve wonders why butthurt people go out of their way to review-bomb him.
It's like he wanted his game to get a lot of bad reviews. Talking stupid shit on the Codex is good laugh and it is the norm, but who in their right mind would take that attitude out and use it during the PR of his game?

He also revealed all of his polical opinions to everyone. I think it's worst thing to do when you want to sell a game because he could have kept his opinions for itself and take that sweet sjw's money( and laugh at them in the back ) instead of triggering every potential buyers of it's game.He rejects everyone that critizes his game, he acts like a 15 years old. It his atitudes that keep away potiential buyers from his game.( RPG codex is the right place for trolling and telling shit but why did he told every critical reviewers of his game to fuck themselves?). He didn't act like a gentleman. We are RPG Codex we should be elites.

Screw it, might as well leave a positive review.

The game is absolutely not my cup of tea, and the UI is often criminally cumbersome, but I do recognize a labor of love when I see it.

Steamspy reports 7k sales, and there are 342 positive reviews, so 5% of the steam key buyers have already done their job. How many units are sold anyway?
How many of you are Cleve's alts?

Yes, because it is a 3rd party engineering review bombs on a game made by another party. If, say, some over passionate fans are trying to rile up positive reviews it would also be fine.

You, on the other hand, is a dev engineering positive review for a game you made. If these kinds of threads are reported to Steam and should Steam moderator happens to follow up on this then you can get your game pulled from the store.

Grimoire is not really my kind of game but I really advise against doing anything that may harm your game.

Is that a threat?

Then again they didn't gag him after his anti Mongoloid rant so I seriously doubt they will take any action against him for this.

No. Maybe I worded that poorly that it sounds like one. But in the past, there have been cases that people dig enough to get that information from devs forum/email/PM. I am just pointing that out. GRPG Discussion is not exactly private either. People could probably get to this thread just by browsing around. And it is most likely not a secret either that Cleve is a Codexer.

STEAM is pretty libertarian on political content on their platform. There are harder lines for clearly low effort political bait or underage porn but its mostly free. Now each Devs' moderator can moderate their own piece of land but STEAM itself usually tries to remove itself from retarded west politicking as much as sensible.

Now Review fixing, on the other hand, is affecting their core business. They have been trying to combat it for a while, even Review Bombing, so this case is treading dangerous water.

But maybe Grimoire is minor enough not to get any attention.

Wearing your un-PC convictions on your sleeve and telling "critical reviewers" to fuck themselves IS elite.

To be honest, it is in part because of this defaitist attitude that we have decline in the first place.

I find that to be something worthy of respect, as it shows both integrity of character and bravery.

When conservatives do it it is the integrity of character and bravery.

When liberal do it: "Shut up cuck"

Codex

There is a bit of a difference though.

Revealing conservative leanings is far more dangerous than confessing liberal views. Even purely fiscally conservative views can be enough to get you hounded from your career.

Also the definition of "liberal" views changes every damn day. Not kept up to date on the 9001 gender definitions? You're a conservative to the SJWs.

*Ring a bell* A woman open her home's door.

- Hello, dear lady, i'd like to ... SLAP YOUR DISGUSTING FACE, YOU FUCKING CUNT, FUCK YOU IN THE ARSE AND PISS IN YOUR MOUTH ... But before that, could i interest you and your husband on a couple of copies of the game i developed myself, it's called Grimoire, Heralds of the winged exemplar ...

Perfectly sound marketing strategy, is it not ?

The store page now states that the recent reviews are "Very Positive".

I doubt doing something like this is any problem.
Many games even have reminders in-game to review the game. It's not like he is paying anyone to write fake positive reviews. I don't see any "engineering" here.

Reminding people to write reviews is actually pretty important on Steam as most people just don't do it.

But that would require somebody to report Cleve and the the ugly truth is that everybody is afraid of him ever since he killed his wife and dissolved her body in nitric acid. And everybody knows that Cleve's wrath won't just be targeted at the person who ratted him out or even just Steam, he will go after everybody and send out swat teams to take each of us down one at a time.
